It's Saturday -- where is everyone???
Good Morning, Pat and All!
I was awakened this morning at 8 by a phone call from a guy who's supposed to do some hard labor in my gardens this Spring. He called to tell me he'd be here on Monday morning, and how the wood would be delivered and when, and whatever... I was barely awake, so I hope I didn't agree to anything I shouldn't have..... Then I sat down at the computer to check in with the OFF, and the doorbell rang. It was the plumber who talk me two weeks ago that he MIGHT be here this morning to work on my plumbing. (No comments here, please....) He's ready to rock and roll.
It almost makes me want to rent an apartment where I don't have to pay for repairs and such. But then I wouldn't have a garden and I'd be even grumpier than I usually am. It's all that keeps me going some days, and I would sorely miss it.
I had planned on a few yard sales today. We'll see what happens with the plumber. Struck gold last weekend for baby clothes for my step daughter, who's again expecting, after 8 years. It's a boy this time. The pregnancy was a surprise, but they're pleased. They already have 2 girls.
Otherwise, the weekend will be filled with mowing and weeding. Now that there's been rain, everything is growing oh, so well!

I am still in colorado. Ill be here till next Sunday. today Nan and I are driving to the Royal gourge. It is about 120 miles from Denver in the mountains.
Last niight we went to the Rockies Game and they WON!!!!!!! I about fell out of my seat!!!!!! going again to the game on Sunday afternoon.
I was texting my husband and sending him pictures all throughout the game.
nan is flying back to chicago on Monday. She is homesick. AS for that mater I am too.
My husband is going to fly up to michigan on the 30th of June.

I was up but it was too darned cold to sit at the computer. My joints are achey from the cold and from crawling on a jungle gym at the park with the M&M's. Monkey bars might ne a better description. I sure looked and felt like a monkey.
Matthew was content to use the ho-hum slide, all by himself. Gotta love that boy.
Melanie climbed way up high to the tube type slide and got frightened. That brought back visions of her mother many years ago. Back then I was too fat (and scared) to climb up and help.
Up, up, up I went. Good grief, we were much too high for comfort. I told Miss M that I was too big to fit down the tube. "No you are not Grandma ... just DUCK".
Damn - she was right. Whee, duck, and down we slid.
Fitting down a tube slide was never on my after WLS wish list. It is now on my accomplished list.

well i am still hurting in the small of my back and into my right hip. not sure if its from sleeping wrong or if it is uncle arthur acting up....all i know is it hurts!!!
one more week and i will be at my moms for her birthday!!! i can't wait!!! called motel to confirm rsvp and talked to manager and she gave me a bigger discount!!! wooohooooo!!!!! saved another $20.00!!! thankyou!!!! can't wait to hit the hot tub friday night for these hurting bones of mine!!!
one of our friends at the trailor park lost her dog to an awful death the other night....a car hit her and it happened right in front of her too!!! i am so sad for her loss....i know what she must be going through because of seeing it happen.
still not sure where my sister is...tried calling her and still no answer...left message for her to call me when she got home.

connie i am sorry to read about the funeral...hope things start looking up for you soon!!!! sounds like your granddaughter is doing better at this place she is at now.
congrats to those that i missed on their progresses. this pc runs so dang slow i hate posting or should i say trying to post!! it takes me so long to get it done. but atleast i am still seeing all of you!!!

With all of these appointments of mine, it's difficult to keep up with everything. Better busy than bored - lol -
Psych consult went well yesterday. He felt I'm a good candidate. I asked many questions, although he was the one evaluating me - lol - but I guess it broke the routine for him doing the routine psych consult. I liked him a lot, and he felt I'm going to do just fine. Whew! He was very encouraging!
If Brenda is reading, I'm sorry to hear you were in the hospital. I hope you are feeling and doing much better. I have a lot of catching up to do here. Hope everyone is doing well and feeling great! Happy Saturday.

Where was I at 8:30? I was sleeping ... that's what I'm usually doing at 8:30. I didn't get to sleep until after 3. Got home after midnight and watched most of my recording of the White Sox game (they won, 11-2). I watched through the seventh inning, which is all of the scoring. Then I went to bed and read my book for an hour. I hadn't planned to read that long, but I got into it and couldn't put it down. Suddenly, it was after 3. Oh well.
Back to work this afternoon. It promises to be a busy day ... it's state finals in a lot of things. I'm sure I'll have auto racing and golf again. It's all they trust me with. Last night, the sports desk chief gave me the prep sports page to do, but then he changed it. Well, he didn't tell everything he wanted on it. Oh well. It was almost like I did it.
My favorite computer geek, Jeff, said he resurrected my deleted photos on camera card, but I can't get my computer to read it off my camera. I guess maybe I'll take it to Walgreens on Monday and see if I can get it to work there. It's not what I wanted to do, but that's all that will work. I have no slots on my computer for a card, and the card reader I bought a while back doesn't work at all with my computer. Jeff told me what to look for, but it doesn't show up from my camera to my computer. So I don't know what to do. Maybe he can just transfer them to Photobucket and I can go from there.

Yes, my son is a track coach for Sturgis and they are in the Grand Rapids Area today for state finals....
I wish you lived closer, I could print your pics off my HP photosmart
printer.....it has a slot for your camera card.
We'd love to have you at our support group.....hey did you see where North Dakota had a job fair there in Grand Rapids last week?????

It's chilly here today......just got home from shopping and going to read the paper and my mail now.
