Happy Saturday!! All is peaceful here,it is 2:30 in the  morning.Today is cleaning and gathering once again of things that are too large,I am giving them to my friend, she is having WLS in a few months, then she can pass them on...smile. It is funny,I used to dress sharp, top to bottom,I was hiding my body. Now I am so content to be able to wear jeans and a top,as I was too big to look good in them before....smile.It feels so good to wear this light aqua gauze top, soft, long sleeved poet style,I LIKE the way it caresses my body....whoa!
I am planning my simple menu today:
B- Western Omelette,with green peppers,onion,and Turkey Bacon
L- Refried low fat Beans,Salsa,Tortilla Chips
D- Talapia,Stir Fried Cabbage with White Onion
S- Banana Pudding with Sliced Banana in it.
S- Fresh Strawberries with Whip Cream
May your day be merry and bright, hey,it's just not for Christmas, right??

Hiya Jacki,I have always loved costume designing and such. However my clothing fetish was due to always feeling badly about my body. I used to get invited to wonderful functions and such,I would always think, "I wish I had another body to go in".
Now, I am so happy,so much lighter, and I have legs!! Yeah baybeeeee!
Now,I am a simple dresser, and so happy in my skin.
Hmmmm, the 2 pounds. Now when you exercise, your body may stop losing for a little while. Have you measured yourself??
I truly believe letting the scale go,and knowing you are eating the right things may work for you,but you know yourself.
Jacki, one of the things my NUT stressed was the importance of eating good carbs, lots of them everyday,to actually burn fat. She wants me to eat 100-120 g's a day.
It's like our mom's always said, eat your veggies...
Huge Hug,pretty lady!

Linda,

That poet style gauze top sounds beautiful.  Aqua is my favorite color.

Your fresh strawberries with whipped cream reminds me to look for strawberries when I go into town today - usually on Saturdays, local farmers bring their berries, park in the parking lot of an abandoned factory, and sell the berries out of the back of their trucks.  On the other hand, maybe I shouldn't.  Because my husband is still harvesting fresh cherries from our one cherry tree, and we have cherries everywhere.  I've made cherry jam, cherry sauce, and maraschino cherries, and we've frozen a bunch of them and also dried some in our food dehydrator.

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: Korean beef rib, cantaloupe
S: cheese
D: grilled lamb, Turkish eggplant salad
S: cherries or strawberries

I love spring with the fresh fruit and vegetables.  There is a farmer's market here in our little villiage.  We got fresh asparagus last week, so will see what treasures are there today.

B.  eggbeaters, fresh strawberries, 40 wheat toast and lf marg
S yogurt
L Smart ones lasagna and side salad
S cottage cheese and banana
D/s wedding reception.

I will be marrying a couple at 5:30. The groom is 21 and the wife is 30.  Very interesing but they seem like a nice couple.

have a good day all!

Jean,I used to so much canning, nothing like some canned tomatoes in the middle of winter.
I remember picking blackberries, mmmm,  ever had black berry cobbler? Some jam on a fresh hot biscuit,or perserved peaches, with fresh ice cream, and I was in hog heaven.Funny,I was no way close to fat then.
I am so happy to have such a diverse background.
Take care.

Linda,

Funny you should mention blackberries.  We've tried growing blackberries here in TN.  They didn't do very well and were kind of sour.  But when I lived in MA, I could pick wonderful, sweet blackberries in a few "secret" spots (not my property!).

A fresh hot biscuit with lots of butter and blackberry preserves sounds wonderful, but that ain't going to happen to me anytime soon.  Not after a horrible stuck episode after eating 2 bites of a scone.

Oh well, happy memories!

Morning everyone,
Glad to hear y'all sounding so chipper this AM.  I've been reading my novel this morning after an early bedtime last night and drinking coffee.  Feeling a little under the weather but plan to get some housework and garden watering done today.  Suspect I'll feel better when the dusting is done as the problem could be allergies.  Eating plan was only partially successful yesterday.  Weekends are harder so better to stay busy.

B coffee/Kashi/yogurt
L tuna/lofat mayo/bell pepper
s apple
D fish/vegies
s pudding

Toodles and smiles, CV Linda

Good morning Linda.....

I just want to let you know I am leaving town in a little while. I am heading out to parts unknown. I need to get away.

I will be back on the board on Thursday. I am not taking my laptop with me. I want time alone to think somethings through.

Love you much.....keep well.....my wonderful friend!

Love and hugs.....Boo...to you!
