Sunday, Sunday good morning
Wow im never the first to post
good sunday morning to everyone. its 6:33 here on the east coast and
its chilly but they say it will warm up again today.
i had a busy day yesterday and came home had supper and sat down
on the couch and that was it for me. man i was sooooooo tired. i crashed
there till around midnight, and then crawled into bed for more sleep.
today i finally hope to plant a few flowers. hubby said he will go to
the flower nursery with me. he likes to pick out the hanging planters
for our pole in the front yard, and ill find some stuff to put in the
other planters.
maybe some laundry and thats if for sunday, i have a busy week ahead
so want to go easy today

We must have hit the submit button at about the same time! You were first! Hope your day goes as planned. We're going to see our mom's today. Going to take them to a little cafe that overlooks the ocean for breakfast and then on to do a little shopping. My mom may not be going as she wasn't feeling well yesterday. Hope she makes it.

The dance recital was beautiful. Melanie was in two numbers. The first time she scanned the audience to find us but couldn't. When she went on stage the second time, Matthew stood up on my lap - she saw him and a great big grin came over her darling face. Then she covered her eyes, looking all bashful. Matthew was yelling MELANIE at the top of his voice. The audience twittered with amusement.

I hope your Sunday is as lovely as the one we are having (Ohio) ... a tad cool but lovely! I planted some flowers myself this morning. Just doing some pots this year.

we are up and dressed and off to breakfast-i HATE that all our meals are "out' during this trip--don't have kitchen facilities here-just coffee maker...
lots of things to see-today we are off to the" finca dracula"--google that!! it's an orchid farm -farm is finca...anyhow michael love sorchids so we are going!!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Too funny that three of you posted at the same time. Great minds think alike!
Kind of chilly here today too, but the sun is out. I'm ready to take a nap already. Our neighbors across the street had a party (in their garage) lastnight. I went to bed at 11:30 and layed there listening to the party. Well, at 4:19 this morning I heard Pat (the guy) out there trying to pick a fight with one of his guests. They were just too loud and I had been listening to them for about 4 hours already. I told Gary that I was going to get up and yell at them through my window, but he wouldn't let me. They broke up very shortly after the fight attempt. Funny tho, when we went out about 9:00 to go to church, both he and his wife were sitting in the cleaned up garage drinking coffee. I was shocked. They use their garage as a family room, it has a TV and refrigerator and a lazy boy recliner and a table and chairs. It also acts as an amphitheater when you're inside talking. Travels right over to our house and into our open bedroom window.
Today my son and DIL are coming for dinner. I got a great deal on pork steaks at the butcher so we'll be bbq ing with roasted asparagus. In doing my fitday food journal I see my major problems are carbs, then fats. Seeing it daily helps me to make different and better choices. Does anyone know if the journal can be printed out?

Wow, two Sunday posts ... and even then, not a lot of people online today. It's a gorgeous day here, so maybe everyone is out and about.
Last night was brutal and boring. The guy who's usually in charge of the sports desk asked us to come in early, and then he didn't work (his son was graduating). So I got in at 3:30 and there was absolutely nothing to do. Gretchen was in charge and she didn't understand why everyone was told to get in early. After a half hour, she doled out pages -- I got my usual one page, the auto racing page. A sports copy editing intern started, and even he had more pages to do. It got so crowded over there, I finally moved back to my own desk and wound up helping the news desk proof because sports wasn't giving me anything else to do.
My knee, back and neck are really hurting me today. I need to get to the chiropractor tomorrow ... I must be really out of whack. Or we're going to get rain. It's probably both. And I'm really tired.
Talked to my mom, my brother and Brenda. Brenda is doing well, by the way. She sounds good, although in pain. She had some bleeding around the area and called the doctor on call yesterday, who told her to change the dressing, but her doctor told her not to, so she didn't do anything. She went out yesterday and wound up coming home early from the family gathering. Today, she's taking it easy as her hubby's going fishing.
As for me, I'm vegging ... laundry, litter boxes, reading, watching baseball, napping. Not doing a whole lot. My body needs a break. If I didn't want to go to the chiropractor tomorrow, I probably wouldn't go out at all until Tuesday.

We had our church service outside today in honor of Pentecost. It was a little warm but I think everyone mostly enjoyed the change in scenery. I was pleased.
Have a full week ahead so am enjoying some down time this evening.
