What's Happening Wednesday?

jan..i wish i could put my finger on it--the scenery is beautiful; all of the ppl we have run in to are all wonderful---the foods are inexpensive...it's a bit damper than i like but a dehumidifier works and i would want a ceiling fan!!!!! and then when you wash clothes hang them for a few days instead of instant dry!

but i am not ready to learn the language that would be needed....english is prevalent in the bigger cities.....and i am worried a bit about the govt-they just had election .....and i am worried about the new pres....

and health care-IF michael would have an episode requiring hospital--it is about 1-2 hours down the moutain which is 2 lane and winds and twists etc.....and then there may not be a dr who could help him.....tho many are trained in US.


today, going down the mtn i had a total emotional meltdown and i cannot see living like that....then we went to a beautiful area and saw some sights but --it's not for me....not everyone is right for this....and panama city would be worse-too busy etc.

i am glad that we came tho --it reinforced the wonder and beauty of the big island and that is where we will go--or we will stay in ohio.if michael wishes to move here it will be without me.

morning everyone....

well its a chilly raining morning here in willoughby ohio!! yes its my day off and another day i can't go to the pool and get some sun....GRRRRRRR

counting down the days til we leave for michigan to see my mom. day after tomorrow we leave...wooohoooo can't wait til i see my mom again!!!

ricks unemployment money has finally arrived in his bank account!!!! YES!!!!!!! sigh of relief here on my part for sure!!! i worry way to much he says....haha someone has to worry!!!

well i alnog with phyllis have been snubbed for the support group meeting back home in bay city. why?? because we broke off from them and started our own group. they are blaming US for all the drama there...but it wasn't all us at all!!! its a long story so no need to tell it all...its just very hurtful to be told we aren't welcome there!!!! oh well their loss as much as it is ours i guess. sighs....

my toe i found out has that ucky fungus ick under it!!! i had some thick white goo coming out and i squeezed it so i could get more out and then i dug around under the nail and got alot more out and then i put some peroxide on it and man it sure bubbled up and i got more out. looks good now and hope i got it before it got way bad!!! sorry if i grossed anyone out lol.

well i need to shower then go to the bank and get money out for trip and then to drug store for vitamins and a few cards and toilet paper and oh yes gas in the car!!! dam gas is now up to $2.75 here!!! WTH is that all about?? on the news they said there is no reason for it to be so high!!!! just makes me angry!!! :(

I am at work..like always. Had such a fun day yesterday. Didn't get home until 7:30 last night. Grandaughter Faith will be 16 the first week of July. I am putting on a Luau party for her on the 3rd, so I was starting to shop for that.( and bought myself some new shorts and a Hawiaan patterned shirt) Then I picked up Faith and we shopped some more. Chuck called and asked if he could take us out to an oriental restaurant for dinner, so we did that,then went home and put on grubby clothes and cleaned out my "pond" ( 1/2 whiskey barrel buried in the ground) I never got a chance to do it right last year so it was like cleaning out an out house , yes ewwwww. But now it is clean and after work I will go buy plants for it.  Faith stayed the night , we had a spa night, complete with  baths with candles surrounding the tub, made party lists and watched a movie.. Was just a fun night. Soon she will grow up and be too busy to spend time with her grandma, I sure will miss her, we have a very special bond. Boss is out of town and I have spent some relaxed time here with ya'all. Loved every minute of it but now on to my duties. Blessings

I envy you going to Maui and seeing Karen. Wish I could stow away. I loved Hawaii (and Alaska) ... my two favorite places, although both expensive and probably couldn't afford to retire to Hawaii, unfortunately. But fun to visit. Give Maui Karen a big hug from me, too.

I really slept late today. Got up at 9:30 and Scooter came in to snuggle ... I felt him in bed and then he meowed at me, so we snuggled. I thought I'd sleep for another half hour, and actually had a dream like that, so I didn't think I was asleep that long. Next thing I knew, it was 11. Oh well. Don't have to go to work til 6 so why not?

It's overcast and cool ... I woke up with a headache, backache and my knee hurts. I'm sure rain is coming. It's only 64 degrees out there.

Not much else going on with me. Work was kind of boring last night, not much going on; lots of stories about the auto industry (of course, it's big news around here, affects a lot of people, including me because auto ads pay the bills).

Sorry you are ready to come home all ready Margo. i would think the place there would be beautiful this time of year.  
well got to get busy , need to fertalize flowers and garden. i bought new stuff yesterday a container with 12 of the packages you put in the sprayer ....yikes i ahave use 5 of them already and not half way done ....think i have too much ?
