what's new TUESDAY?
I lived at 1208 E. Augusta as a kid and all my neighborhood friends went to St. Al's and I went to Logan. We live near St. Al's now. About 3 Blocks north of Mission. If you are ever over this way be sure and holler, would love to meet you IRL.

ood Morning All! Just woke up. It is kinda late for me but took my cousins to the airport they are on their way to the U.S. Virgin Islands. Hope they have a great time! I will be checking on their house while they are away so I will be driving an hour one way. But they would do it for me I am sure. It is going to be HOT here in southern Indiana! I finally am putting away the sweat shirts and sweat pants! It is warm enough for short sleeves, finally! I am going to work in their yard and maybe I will break a sweat today! It is supposed to be 90 degrees here by late afternoon.
Hope you all have a great day! Take care!
i'm not sleeping well-and have my CPAP! it takes me forever to get to sleep then i wake up every few hours-wtheck????
i'm not going to say much else today cuz i am ready to go home.

hugs and prayers..............
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

It's gloomy again here and looking like rain again. My body feels a little better after the chiropractor, but for some reason after going to the chiropractor, I feel nauseous. Don't know why that is.
I have a psychologist appointment this morning so got to hurry and get dressed. Today I start my new hours (I start at 6 p.m. to get night shift hours) plus my new reduced pay. Oh joy. Working longer and get paid less. Who wouldn't enjoy that?
Well, gotta run.
I am waiting to hear something from either the doctor's office or the home health group from the hospital on if the insurance is approving their visit to me every day. I have a hole in my tummy from where he took the infection and it is about 2 1/2 to 3" deep. The gauze and bandages need to be changed every day and this seems the best. I told the doctor that I can't ask Bill to change them since he would just vomit (his stomach is VERY weak, as you can tell). I told him that I could do it and he told me no. Not sure why because I have the ability to do that but what can I say? The only other alternative was to go to the doctors office everyday and since he isn't there on the week ends that makes a problem. I am in pain but it is going to get better hopefully. It seems like I have a lot of pain inside but I am on an antibiotic and hopefully that takes care of the infection which is what I think the pain is. I have an allergy to adhesive and that isn't helpful when you have bandages all over your body. On the good side of this whole thing is that I got rid of the last drain yesterday and so I don't have any more appendages hanging from my body. That was a pain in the rump for sure.
It is cloudy and chilly here today. We got horrendous thunderstorms yesterday but they came and went and came again. There was a lot of torrential rain yesterday and we are suppose to have more thunderstorms today but I am hoping that they are not as strong as yesterdays was. But it is what it is........a lesson I am learning a lot lately! You just take it and deal with everything that happens. ha ha
I will go for now. It is great visiting with you again.....I have missed you all so much. Have a wonderful and great day wherever you are and know that I am sending love and hugs to all along with prayers for health and happiness. Don't forget to smile pretty for everyone....it is going to bring sunshine to everyone.....including you.
Hey There Annette, and Hey There OFF friends!
I've been to court and back today and finally I can exhale a sigh of relief! The dirty, rotten, rat bastar* ex took out a dozen credit cards in my name and ran them to the limit before he stopped paying on them. All of them, or so I thought, were paid off by the sale of our home (my home of 30 years) per the divorce and I thought we were all done with creditors. Then this creditor popped up unexpectedly and I fought it tooth and nail. Today I won!!! Yiipppeee!!
The crazy lady hasn't called me to do errands for her in a few days. She's mad at me because one night when she sent me an email with her grocery list attached; I hiked off the next morning to do the shopping. She likes me to wait to do her shopping until 4 pm when she is awake and can prioritize what needs to be on the list as to how her body is feeling that day. And then she usually calls me at the grocery store with more items. I forgot my cell phone at home last time so she called the grocery store and had me paged. But to the reason why she was mad at me--I shouldn't have used the grocery she sent by email because that was only the first draft. It takes her two days to come up with a complete list (except for the 3 or 4 times she calls me while I'm in the grocery store). Sigh.
Off to get some work done!
Have a great day, everyone!

Brenda I'm sooooo glad to see you back. You've no idea how much I missed you. I hope you can figure out the daily dressing change, and that your health improves rapidly.
Today is Blessing Weavers for me. We are a small group of women that get together every Tuesday afternoon and just sit around and knit and crochet together. It's very pleasant. NO food allowed. Too many things focus on food these days, and we just have fun visiting with one another and making baby blankets. The blankets are given to each child born into our private school or church family. The additional blankets are given to charity for inclusion in a layette package that goes to expectant mom's without resources. It's so much fun to see what everyone comes up with. The patterns and colors are as different as can be, and there's so much personality in the blankets.
I'm not a very patient waiter and it seems like time is dragging by. I can almost hear the clock tick each minute. The authorization for surgery is floating out there somewhere between the surgeon's office and the insurance company. All that pre-op rush of stuff to do and then bam, the bottom drops out and you just wait. Sigh I attended a lengthy 3-1/2 hour class yesterday for pre-op people. Very well done. Representatives from all the departments that are involved in your care at the hospital spoke about their respective areas. Took my husband and coach, both of whom thought it was worth the time.
Have a great day everyone.
Walking with you on this journey, Mary
