What's new Thursday?

Margo.....I get the small bottle from WalMart so it isn't as much as it sounds like. I forgot that there is a large bottle. Sorry for that.

I am so glad that you are soon going to be home too. I am sorry that it wasn't what you were hoping for but it just wasn't meant to be. When the right things come along you will know it. Just keep searching and God will point you to it. I know that  for sure!

I was watching House Hunters International last night and a couple moved from Pennsylvania to Panama and just loved it. I thought of you while the whole show was on. I guess it just depends on the person just like everything else in life. Not everything is perfect for everyone......that is what makes the world go around I guess.

I am sending love and hugs to you and prayers for a safe trip home.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

brenda--the folks on that show probly bought in one of the much pricier areas ..that makes a big difference..and those folks areiving up the costs in the less pricey areas---i am sure they had mucho bucks!!! and maybelived around panama city?

we looked at houses the other day with a realtor- 1 for 68k, 72k and 100k..didn't bother with anything above 100k.....i could manage with the 72 k and the 100 k was much nicer-tiled floors as opposed to painted concrete--but there is so much more.....

we know what we want and it will be the big island...michael was blinded by the low cost of living and forgot how much he loved home- i felt the love and the "at home feeling" immediately when we were tehre--he just needed to be not so gently reminded...i was trying to make this work--it's not for us-well, me.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Margo

The house they chose on House Hunters was an hour and a half from Panama City, and ran between $250,000 and $300,000.  Other choices were closer to the city, but ran up to $350,000.

Beautiful homes, but the idea of going there for a more comfortable retirement must mean something different to them than to me.  There's got to be some room in my budget for the simple things.  Like food.....

It's beautiful there, though.

Sigh.....

Brenda...sweetie.....a cantalope will not ripen IN THE FRIGE! You must leave it out for it to ripen. I learned that lesson the hard....like you.

Brenda, the cantalope will never ripen in the refrigerator.....leave it on your counter for a few days and it will be nice and ripe.

if you jus**** to talk about whatever; reply under eileen's start--it will show at the bottom...
it bugs the crapola outta me to have someone post to me when they mean it to go to the general board.....just my "thing"

some folks reply to each person- usually we just post away unless we feel windy-some days some of us have much more time!

talk about anything..your day...your family...we talk about grandkids etc here a lot! pets..again- a big topic!!!
