i agreee eileen call that dr and see if he can help you with that knee pain. don't let it go to long before calling to ask for help on it!!
well i work today 1-9 then come home and start packing up for trip to michigan to see mom for her birthday. we will be leaving about 7 am so we can spend more time with her. also need to see my sister who i think is still in hospital. if weather is nice and IF my brother is up at tawas we will take ride up there to see his new 5th wheel camper. then saturday its moms birthday and also one of my cousins graduation party. then sunday we will be seeing phyllis and jon before we leave to come back home again. busy weekend for sure!!!
well need to get off here and shower and give bandit his bath so he smells nice for the trip. have a good day everyone....SMILE ;)
G-morning. Last day of no boss
she will be back from her training tomorrow. Oh Please Please have her have learned someing about this program. Enough of that I WILL enjoy today. Just spilled a big splash of coffee on the front of my shirt and broke a nail reaching for a tissue. Today is take Mom out day,and I have Legion Auxiliary tonight and a spagetti feed tomorrow night so I have to make a crock pot of sauce. Now if I had all that zuchinni that Jan does I would put some in the sauce.
OK I have a rant !!! My VCR/DVD combination player stopped working so I went and bought a new one.Found a good sale at Nebraska Furniture Mart, $79. One that plays both and records. My TV is less than 8 years old. I leave the hooking up of those things to my kids. My son came over to hook it up and said I needed some kind of connecters for it, so I give him $10.. He calls Radio Shack and comes to me hemming and Hawing about I need an input this and an out put that.. yea yea just do it I don't need the details. Then he says " Mom each piece will cost $30. !!!! I just blew , $60 in parts to make my $79 player work?? These electronic companies stay up nights, smoke pot, get the munchies, laugh, giggle and think of ways to screw us!!! Grrrrrrrrrr. Needless to say the dang new player is sitting on the floor Phil (DS) is suppose to be checking internet to see if he can find the parts cheap for me, bet he won't. I am so sick of all this new technology, Yea yea ,it is all to make life easier, but I have to say I am very worried about kids who can not be without cell phones for 2 minutes. A 70 year old teacher got beat up by a student in my Granddaughters class this winter because a student refused to give up his cell phone that she had told him repeatedly to put away. Last night at a big 2 state church service there was a pastor sitting behind me who was texting during the entire service. I decided when mp3 players came out I had had enough, so already I am in the dark.. and glad to be there. End of rant, off to get my slim fast and back to work, Thanks for listening.

Aloha Eileen and OFF family,
I've been bad about posting lately.....just life getting in the way.
This is the day Karen C arrives on Maui! In fact she's probably at the airport right now, and soon I will log on to www.flightarrivals.com and follow her flight, so I can know when to head across the island to pick she and her friend up at the airport. It is a glorious day for her arrival.....except for a little VOG (volcanic ash from the Big Island volcano) which the winds aren't blowing away yet. We will stop at a Safeway in Lahaina so they can pick up a few groceries (I'll have a cooler and blue ice in the car for them), and then I'll be dropping them at their hotel in Kaanapali....the Kaanapali Beach Hotel (if you'd like to google it.).
The only time I will have to spend with them will be over the weekend unfortunately, but at least we'll get in some time in the sun, pool, ocean...whatever, and some gabbing time. I have to work tomorrow, Mon and Tues.....plus other things, but they will have a marvelous time where they are because there is much within walking distance, and laying around the beach hotel pool and/or beach with a frosty mai tai will be lovely I would think.
Margo...I'm so glad your trip is almost over and you can get back home to your animal friends and your familiar surroundings. You have been so cool about sharing your adventure with us....almost felt like we (ME) were there with you.
Ben...welcome to the OFF. I'm the Hawaiian sister who always comes in last because of the time difference. Sometimes I don't even post because there are already 20 ahead of me and most have moved on to the next day....Ha!
Now I need to do laundry and clean out my little car (Penny) so that Karen and her friend can get their luggage in. I'm looking forward to all the hugs you are sending with them. I'll be back later with an update.

Hi Everone...Most of you post early in the morning. I do not get on my computer too early though and sometimes not until afternoon and evening. I love my mornings and find so many things to do. Eileen, my dear, I hope you will go see your Dr, about that knee before something drastic happens. Margo, I have been reading about your stay in Panama and can identify with you when you say you are ready to get home. Brenda, I love reading your posts and hope your infection goes away very soon. You've had enough owies for awhile! Everyone else, I hope your day is great and I wish you happiness, good health and lotza love. Today is our 48th wedding anniversary and I still think my hubby is the greatest guy. We will be going out to dinner somewhere tonight and then spend a quiet evening at home.
