Howdy guys,sigh...I want some new foods, nothing seems good at 2 in the morning! I got Annette's berries confused with Jean's berries,so Annette is not eating them because she has the and Jean should keep eating them cause she is ,if they work for her.....smile.
We are such a delicate group of ladies.
Okay,this sounds pretty:
B- Cantalope,cottage cheese,and strawberries.
S-Crunchy peanut butter and Apple slices
L- Baked Chicken, cold sliced sweet potatoes, green bean salad with cranberries.
Chicken salad,with melba toast.
I am cleaning out emotional garbage...and I actually feel better in my head.....it' so kewl!!!

Howdy fellow travelers,  Thanks so much for your pep talk yesterday, Linda.  Got some insight into recent food challenges from my horoscope.  The weight came off so easily at first but recently I've become complacent.  I need to work a little harder at this now.  Thanks for hanging with me on this journey.  Menu is similar to yesterday.  CV

Theme: Integrate two potential realities or let go of one of them.   It's important now to build upon the structures you have already created.  If you do become distracted with nearby shiny trinkets -- real or imagined -- gently remind yourself that they won't shine light on your path of self-discovery

CV, I had to let you know that I really like your signature line.......it is so true and something that I am in need of working. Thanks so much.

I am a bit out of the loop so please excuse me when I tell you that I have no idea what you are talking about but please let me tell you one thing. Sometimes we have to "act as if" and then when we do it long enough it comes to be a part of our lives.

Please know that I am keeping you in thoughts and prayers. Just keep on keeping on....that is the important thing.

Dearest CV,I am so happy you have re-adjusted your mindset. Reading your posts,I see a very strong woman, who has not heard the word no too often,I too do not like hearing no.
Do you want to hear of a really silly woman who did not like hearing the word no???
She postponed  her WLS ,for just under a year because she could handle her guts being re-routed,mal-asorption,and no sweets, however she could not handle hearing the word NO to Pepsi....yeppers, 'twas I.
Linda,I am honored to share your journey and the rest of the folks on OFF,even if they don't like me....LOL.I get my strength and inspiration from OFF. Isn't it nice that there's room for all?
I love your tagline,it is most excellent.Have a great evening and be cool,if ya can't be cool ,deny, deny, deny!!
That reminds of the scene in Chicago when the woman catches her man in her bed with 2 women and he says,"What are ya going to believe, what your eyes tell ya or what I say?"
Thoughts do so become things,Amen sister!!

Morning to you, sweet Linda of mine! I hope that today is not good for you but just plain super great!

My advice (I always have that to offer!) for your emotional garbage is to write it all down then just tear it up and throw it in the garbage. Burn it if you can but that isn't always something that a person can do now. That way it is in tossed where it is suppose to be......trash........and you let go of it and make it a part that is no longer a part of your life. Just my own opinion so take it for what it is worth.

Food for today is just that....food. I am still not eating to well but it seems to be getting a tiny bit better. The thing that bothers me so much is that I am now playing with another couple of pounds....just like I did before. The scale is up a pound then down a pound and the stuff is just getting to me. I think that I need to stay off the scale since I am still swollen from the surgery and who knows what is going on with this body of mine with all this crap that it doing. I just want it to go back to normal....whatever that is!

B: piece of toast with cheese
L: chicken entree
D: fish and veggies
S: nothing

I must admit that most of the time I have not been eating breakfast but today I am going to make a effort to do that. I do have a cardiologist appointment late this morning and a surgeon appointment this afternoon so I am hoping that I have time for lunch. It depends on how fast the doctor is moving this morning.

I am sending love and hugs your way and know that you and yours are in my prayers all the time. Don't forget to smile at someone today.....even if it you smiling at yourself in the mirror. No one deserves the great feeling of  your smile more than you do at times. Just remember that one.

The choices weren't always great this week, but I did maintain my weight.  I am extremely happy.

We ate decently on the trip, and were able to not spend much money.  We split an omelet for breakfast twice.  Had a Sonic Jr Breakfast Burrito twice.  Had a burger for lunch one day.  Threw away the top of the roll (and it was the small burger).  Did go to a buffet one night at the Horseshoe.  It was free, so I did not feel guilty not eating much.  But I did eat too much any way.  It was all good stuff though. I really watched it there.  Had a child's plate of spaghetti at a local restaurant one night.  Twice we had chicken/spinach quesedillas.  One lasted us for two meals each.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
