Welcome home George. It is nice to see you again.

I taught my little grand Matthew how to play with bugs and dig in the dirt. My daughter has instilled a fear of bugs and an aversion to dirt into him.

We were outside, he saw a tiny ant and began to screech in fear. No way, that's not going to continue. I showed him how to hold the ants then we played in DIRT. After two hours we were both covered in good old dirt, holding ants, bugs and Daddy Long Legs. I just pray that we don't find any snakes or I will have to control my own fear. Or run screaming and show them real fear. Nah, won't do that.

Matthew and I shared breakfast. Not just sitting side by side and eating - we shared. He put some of his food in my dish and took a spoon full of mine. "We share Grandma" No wonder I catch every sniffle from him - we share.

Plans? Work today. Attend a birthday party for a friend tomorrow. Sunday is too far a head to plan yet.

Kisses

Today is another Volunteer day.  After that, hopefully my check will arrive and we can get some groceries.  We have bills piling up.  I wish layoffs didn't exist.  Oh well.. it is a good day anyway!  I am happy to be alive, well and know who is in control... not me! lol

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

good morning george and all!

some jerk was tooting is horn at 345!!!! and they are little brash horns .....no not brass!!!!

in a few minutes i will wake michael and we will get dressed, have breakfast and begin the drive back to panama city. it takes 6-8 hours and is horrible-going down the mtn is one thing but then  the road is fairly good then boom a huge pothole! and ppl are always walking along the road, crossing it in strange places and all this while you are driving 80mph.cars are horrid along the highway here then gettingcloser to panama city-ohboy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we will check into the B & B  and probly return the rental car -get that nitemare over with...once back at the b & b there is s'posed to be some beautiful scenery....showers and sleep and then to the airport for security etc -our flight home is at 10 am EST saturday-tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! we have a 2 hour layover in houston-wanted to see m's daughter and girls- forgot about security etc so that won';t happen...they can't come to the gates and we will NOT go out and come back in...takes entirely too long to get michael thru with his titanium hip and greenfield filter.......

we'll get home very very late sat nite-sunday morning two very distinct trips by car-ours!--one to pick up brodyboy and roxiethewonderdog...OMG i miss them.......................and then to pick up chico, ruby and the 4 parakeets.........due to the size of brody AND the bird cages, we cannot do it all in one trip!

then some laundry and it will be time to get ready to go back to work.

so-that's my weekend....i cannot wait to be home tomorrow nite.....

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Margo, my thoughts and prayers are going up for you and your trip home. I will be happy when you are home with your little fur family and knowing that you are happy to be home again too.

It was nice that you went to see the other way of living but I am sorry that you had such a trip. It sounds like it is rather loud and/or busy with noise and that is one thing that I love.....peace and quiet. And love it more the older I get.

Safe travels to you my dear sister!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
