good morning!
i'm up and gonna try to have a better day today! so far; it's working! i think i just needed sleep yesterday....

so my daughter is upset with me...she's having some jewlery party thing this saturday nite and wants me to come- alone..i don't really want to drive all the way out there and sit with these women without buying anyting even if she is  my daughter- and then spend the nite- i am trying to get us motivated toward a yard sale this weekend so i really feel that i must be here- after all; i've been gone the last 3 weekends in a row! she is, of course, taking this as i don't want to see her...not true!!! ah well...c'est la vie!

nothing really planned for today- work....then maybe wally's for some things....

sending special hugs and prayers for our sisters in need today...and to anyone else who wants them!!!

 OHhhhh   this is one proud and excited Gramma.  My second Granddaughter graduated last night.  And tonight is her party.  She is a sweetheart.  She has Turner's syndrome and has had challenges in her life.  For her to graduate is normal but with her "issues" it's a big deal.

I made the grad cake for her.  1/2 sheet cake... part choco part vanilla w/ cream cheese frosting.  I tasted it to make sure the flavor was ok.... but do have to stay away from ALL sugars.  Saw my ex and his wife...  can someone say;  there is an elephant in the room?  lol  crazy crazy..... 

Today I'll be out to my son's home helping my dil with the party.  She wants me to come very very early.....  not a problem, just a long day.  This son is the one in Iraq & due home in Aug.  Neat family, I'm very proud of them.


George, so sorry you have to work so hard (giggle).  I'm sure the Rangers will pick up again.  (I know very little about pro baseball.)

Yeah, George, I feel so bad for you that you have to "work" so hard.
All those calls -- golly.  When I worked in customer service at Dometic, I took probably 20+ calls AN HOUR!   Talk about stress.

Going to go out and get the queen size bed today.....I will also have to get a new mattress pad and sheets....will wait on a bedspread until I find just what I want.  The room will be painted a light blue so I may
pick something in a dark blue .....will just shop around for a while.

Working this morning.  Have tomorrow off and will get the van
serviced....I put so few miles on it, but it needs to be serviced
anyway. 

Hope Connie and Linda are doing better...awaiting some news
from both of them.

Good morning everyone.
  I also have gotten the frail little lady thing.   I take it as a compliment mostly.  I am vertically challanged  and a bit of a wimp muscle wise  I just pretend  Im  a grand lady when someone says something!
I think  Im  going to finish cleaning carpets and washing drapes today.  
  I am seriously considering stopping the specialized foster care.   I care for sexually abused or badly damaged little ones)    Hubby isnt happy with the idea though.   I am just considering it right now. 
I have prayers going up for those hurting.

morning george and OFF!!!

well yesterday we went to look at a trailer and are going to try to buy it!!! it has 3 bedrooms 2 which are large, has a full bath and also 1/2 bath in master bedroom. small fenced in area just perfect for bandit to play around in and also a place for some rose bushes and other stuff!! i will go to the bank after the cafe today and see about the loan. it was offered to us for $12,000 and its all updated and clean. used to be one of ricks friends place. she died a few months ago and its now up for sale and because he took care of her they offered it to him dirt cheap. i am hoping and praying that we can get this loan and move in there. its closer to work and also our friends. it would be half the cost of what we are paying now for rent here. only thing is it has oil tank to be filled and that is one lump sum at fill up. but heck if its cheaper why not? it also has a washer and dryer in it that stays and it won't cost me to use it!!! we also explained to this guy that we are under a lease til october. he said no problem...he would pay the lot rent til then if we really wanted this place. so off to the bank and see what we are told.

hope connie and linda are doing better today....brenda hope you are also doing better with your latest ordeal. margp glad to see you back home and also george nice to see you back home and working so "hard"!!! LOL annette that was complements for you!! you have to learn to take them now!!! i can fully understand the feeling of still being  a "BIG" girl yet...i also still feel like i am huge. i am not as small as some of you are but i atleast am smaller than i used to be!!! its a mind thing i am sure but glad to be where i am at!!!

ok crs just hit and now i can't remember who else i was gonna address on here...hate when thi****s!!! OH!! susan....glad to see your blood tests came back fine...as for the bleeding part...rick says its the blood pressure releasing....yeah ok rick...lol and millie? congrats to your granddaughter for graduating!!!

ok have to go put clothes in dryer then get ready for the cafe and then off to the bank. keep your fingers crossed we get the loan!!! will let you know what i find out.

Anything special planned today? Having breakfast with Carla was special but other than that, just busy. I am at work and later I have a doc appt . I need to meet with my Foster daughter we need to call Social Security before the 15th and I am gone from Friday through Wednesday so it has to be done today or tomorrow. Then church tonight. I just could not sleep last night I got just over 3 hours and now I am crashing, about every  word I have to go back and correct something I have typed. I made 2 differant kinds of hummus last night and baked some pita chips. yummyyy I stayed away from sweets yesterday, that is a good step for me. Boss is at a meeting so it is quiet in here. For once I could use her chatter. Have a great day.
