Today I'm cleaning house. We have hardwood floors and tile throughout the house and it really needs a quick dust over daily; however, I have not swept it in about a week. I saw dush kangaroos in my hallway. With my allergies and my kitty's allergies, we have to do better. Annette, it tickles me when even the girls at the store offer to carry things for me. LOL. Some are as small as I and they offer to lift things up or carry things. I laugh. True, it should be complimentary, but small women are no less weak than big gals. I probably have more strength now that I did at over 300 pounds and certainly more than when I was over 500 pounds. Plus, I can easily maneuver my body to lift things as opposed to having to carry everything up over my huge belly.
George, I can relate to the hard work. LOL. I had to go up to my office to interview a couple of students who are wanting me to tutor them in Latin. Before I took the task on, I wanted to meet with them to make sure they are committed. So, while I was there, I piddled around and cleaned my desk and filed some student papers and the housekeeper came by and said working hard, and I said breaking my back and he laughed and went on down thehall. Yeah, I'm with you on that hard work. LOL
I hpe your team picks up their winning thing. I really should learn a little about ball.

I didn't sleep well last night at all. I was in a fair amount of pain and so I kept waking up each time I moved. I haven't had a night like that for a while and so I not to happy this morning. It will get better I am sure....or at least I hope it does. ha ha
It is kind of gloomy here this morning. I have no idea what the temperature is outside but I do know that Bill left for our nephews house with the trimmer and he didn't wear a jacket or anything so it must not be to bad. But I am sitting here and feel a *****illy. Maybe that would go away if I had the sun to see. ha ha
The visiting nurse is going to be here between 10:30 and 12:30. Today is not my shower day...I hate only being able to take a shower every other day... and so I have to take my vanity shower (how I wi**** was a shower!) and get dressed for her. My sister is coming and should be here shortly. Carolyn changed the packing and dressings all by herself yesterday since the nurse said she had so much knowledge. Erica was impressed and so she is watching her again today and then she is on her own and I won't see the nurse until Friday. Then Carolyn isn't coming on Friday. I will be so glad when this whole fiasco is done.
I guess I should get going. I hope that everyone keeps Linda in prayers today for her neurologist appointment this afternoon. I am sending love and hugs to all along with prayers for everyone too. Spread your cheerfulness around to all you come in contact with. It will make for more cheerfulness for you too!

The phone woke me up shortly before 10 a.m. ... it was my cleaning lady ... second time this week she's woken me up this week. This time, she just wanted to confirm when I'm going out of town so she doesn't surprise me again.
Yeah, George, my Sox aren't playing so well. Yesterday, they got 12 walks from the Tigers and still lost. They came back and tied them in the ninth and almost won it on a double, but the guy was called out at the plate (close call). Then the second pitch of the 10th, Miguel Cabrera hit out of the park and he did his Kirk Gibson imitation (gimpy limpy around the bases). They don't hit with runners on at all (except for Paul Konerko). It's disgusting. They blow so many games.
Not much going on here. Work again today and tomorrow, then I'm off for four days. I thought my boss was going to be back this week, but I guess not until Thursday. I miss him. It was so slow last night, although some excitement mid-evening when Chrysler was given the go-ahead on its bankruptcy.
Well, I should move on and do something, like maybe exercise? I haven't done that in awhile ... I feel like a slug.

I'll be doing some yard work and if the weather stays nice maybe I'll do a little fishing. The daughter is here for a vacation and she wants me to go shopping with her so shopping may wear me to out for anything else. She is easy to shop with because she knows what she wants and never does that thing the wife used to do where she couldn't decide. I hated that. Does this go with that. Geeze, just buy the damned thing. It sure is nice having the daughter here. She makes enough noise to keep me from having to think about being alone. My sisterinlaw is trying to fix me up with her church friend. She keeps telling me how great this gal is. I hope this one at least talks.
