Hi Everyone Sharing My Good News, Got a DATE!!
um...as one coffee drinker to another...you really need to keep your body caffeine free or as much as possible- at least for awhile now--- it will be so much easier when you have your surgery -not to get that horrid withdrawal headache!! and also you will lose better --caffeine leaches calcium out of our bones and is not good for weight loss...so they tell me! i have learned to drink decaf most of the time now finally...
anyhow- not trying to rain on your parade-just thinking ahead!!!!
my stress test was the treadmill thingy and i had a rough way to go with it--but i passed!
so glad you are on your way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! here's another whooo hooo on the 46 pound loss too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
get your chapstick and your tummy pillow ready you are on your way to the loser's bench!!!!!!!!!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

What a delight to find your post. How I enjoyed reading it this morning. You are making me smile. Thank you my friend for sharing this very important moment. I think this will be one of those historical markers in my life, who knows maybe they'll put one on the side of the road by the hospital to mark the event, lol.
I agree regarding the caffeine. She says as she sits at the computer, drinking her morning cup. I told my husband yesterday that this would be a good time to cut it bac****il its gone before surgery. So you mirrored my thoughts. Thank you for that word of encouragement to get it done. It adds to my resolve.
Thanks to for acknowledging the weight loss. As you certainly know very well, it doesn't come easy as we get older, but its not impossible either!
So I'm on my way, mind going in a thousand directions. Gotta do this, gotta do that, gotta, gotta, gotta...... At least with anesthesia I won't be able to make lists and will finally sleep, lol.
Blessings to you!!!
Mary

You have done a great job with the losing 46 pounds already. I am sure the doctor is well pleased with that too.
It sounds like you are getting well prepared for the big day and that is good. You know that you have a whole house full of support from your brothers and sisters here...we are here for you every step of the way. Don't ever forget that for one minute. Know that we are here to answer any questions that you might have too. But one thing I am sure of....you will do fantastic! I have no doubt at all about that.
I have those stress tests all the time and I just hate them. I hate the feeling that I get from them and I am always glad that they are finished for a while. I am glad that they turned out good for you, that is the important thing.
Again.....congratulations and we will be getting our areas on the losers bench dusted...we have to make sure that we clean house when we get a new bench sitter.
So good to know my friends are circling the wagons. You are such a joy, and I love reading your posts. All you've been through lately and you still find time for everyone else. I really appreciate that about you.
Thanks so much for sharing this with me. You and the folks here are my brothers and sisters. I do not have support from family going into this and so you make it so comforting to know I can come here. My husband is a HUGE support, and my rock.
Yep, glad the tests are behind me, and I hope they turn out okay. I won't know about yesterday's adventure for a few days, but somehow I feel that will be okay too.
Even saying "loser's bench" makes goose bumps. Oh my go**** is really happening. You talk about it forever it seems, and then when it is a reality, oh my gosh!!!
Thanks Brenda, you are a rock, and one of the dearest people on the face of the earth!!!
Blessings to you.

You are right about the intership, or is it more like bootcamp? lol Thanks for acknowledging that, and knowing so well what goes into getting ready for WLS.
Kisses back to you. A few dog kisses too!!!
Blessings to you!
