Hello everyone......

Aloha dear Connie........You and Linda have both been so on my mind lately....and now here both of you are saying that you are on the mend.

I can't EVEN imagine what it is like to break a hip! I broke my leg...shattered the lower part actually......and that was no fun, that's for sure. Wheelchairs, crutches, and zippy little carts at the stores was my story for about four months.

I hope you feel the love coming to you from this little family in the OFF. I feel so thankful that we can always count on our siblings here to care, and give good advice and lots of loving TLC.

Hang in there, baby!! You'll be back to your feisty self in no time.

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

Dearest Connie,

You are surrounded with compassion, and gentle hugs and love, as you should be.  You seem always to have time for everyone, and can always find the words to say to encourage someone else.  May this be your time to be lifted up, encouraged and loved.  There are many here who are praying for you, as am I.  Rest knowing that you are a rare treasure, and we want only the very best care for you.  Blessings connie!

Walking with you on this journey, Mary

Ditto to what everyone else has said.  My mom was in a rehab center after her second hip replacement and she recouperated faster in there than when she had her first hip replaced and recouped at home.  Be patient and follow the PT's orders! God Bless and keep you on the road to recovery.
