Sunday-Flag Day-What's new?
did i ever tell you how much i detest putting on yard sales? yesterday was long....very very long...not a lot of traffic..but semi profitable- i sold my dresser and two living room chairs-which is great in the big picture but now i have no dresser til we move! ok - get over it- move on! the day was semi profitable in that respect but made NO DENT in all of the stuff that needs to be gotten rid of!!!!
and we have someone interested in looking at the house! whoooooooooo hooooooooooo-trying not to get overly excited about that cuz well ya know....
so-today is day 2 and i so would like to just go back to bed for a few more hours..........everything is tired or hurts- even my toenails!!!!
nothing else new here- what about you????

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

After 43 years in the same house, I'd like to put ALL the house contents on the raod with a free sign. A sale sounds like a ton of work.
It was a fun day with the M&M's. Their grandma Sue joined us for the afternoon. She has never lived close enough to know the grands but is trying to become part of their lives.
Matthew runs to my arms, hugs, and repeats "grandma" for several minutes before I can put him down.
Melanie has to check my earrings. I was wearing a pair she has never seen - dangley gold hearts. Oh boy, I had to take them off so she could hold them. We then negotiated that she could hold them for the day but had to return the earrings to me before I left.
We all went out to play in the yard and new playhouse. (pictures on my profile) Both kids warned that Mommy says we may only pick ONE flower from the flower boxes. They would pick every single flower without that rule; especially Miss M.
It began to rain so it was time to head to the sand box which is in a covered gazebo. Grandma Sue didn't know that we all take off shoes and sit in the sand. She's learning.
Back in the house it was time for our running game. The kids run, I hide, then pop out and give chase. Grandma Sue said she doesn't know where I get the energy. I do ... WLS.
We played catch, made teddy bears out of play dough, rolled on the floor, ran some more, just had a giggling good time.
A few hours later it was time for their dinner. Mary invited us to stay but heck, I was tired and ready to go home.
We have a leaving ritual. They remind me to honk and wave, I promise, they run to the front window, I honk and wave.

Annette, I love your M&M stories. They warm my soul so very much. They always bring a smile and a light to my heart and I want to thank you all so much for them.
I have great memories of my grandparents....grandpa passed just before my 8th birthday but grandma didn't until just before my 22nd one. In fact she was buried on my 22nd birthday. They were such an important part of my life and I revisit those times with both of them still. M&M will do the same with you. They are lucky to have you be such an important part of their lives.
This gives me great joy in knowing that I am going to do the best that I can to leave the same memories with Kayden.

hey Margo now that you have the dresser emptied out you have the perfect oppertunity to sort thru all of that ....i just went thu mine the other day and was so supprised about how much stuff that i dont wear and i got rid of .....i had 20 almost new bras that are too big on me , dont know what i was saving them for , i dont want to go back to that size. even if it isnt huge....they were 38 C and i barely wear a B now so dont know why i hung onto them except that they were all new and pretty lol
I dont like putting on a garage sale but i sure do like going to them.... Hope you have a better day today.....Here the best days are friday and saturday...some start even on thursday
anyway it is rainy here today dont think i am going to be able to get much done outside today...i had a lot planned but ------ i saw a sign the other day that said .....God sends the rain so gardeners can get their house work done...... i thought wow that is about right for me. I seem to stay behind on housework all the time in summer.
got to go get my protein coffee made. and get busy for the day.....
