What are we eating & What's eating us for Sunday
Good morning to you all. Nothing seems to be going right today for me and so I have to practice the It is what it is that I talked about yesterday.
I ate well yesterday. I was pleased with it. I went for lunch with Eileen and ate like a two snouted hog as my friend Rick use to say. ha ha
Yesterdays food was....
B: nothing
L: chili with cheese and 2 small pieces of WW bread with butter
D: roast beef with some cheese
S: nothing
It is getting better. That is working for me. It takes what it takes and I am getting back to normal. I would say that I am mostly there already.
I think that after our "It is what it is" from yesterday I need the "This too shall pass" deal to go with it. I need to remember that when things aren't going the way that I need for them to go or want for them to go I have to remember that this too shall pass. Hard times will come to an end and difficult learning times will too. I just have to remember to learn my lessons from the difficult learning times or I am bound to repeat them until I do. That is so something that I don't want to do. If things are in a difficult position for you just remember that THIS TOO SHALL PASS and you will get through to the other side.
Have a great day and remember to spread the seeds of your happiness and joy around so they will take hold and grow in other people's lives and hearts. I am sending love and hugs to all with prayers going up for you all too.

I just made my big pot of chili..... I've had this "thing" with chili for quite a while now. That and Oatmeal. My blood sugars seem to stabilize better if I have oatmeal for breakfast and chili for lunch.
And OMG cheese and onions on the chili... lol can't get enough of them..... I've got to the point I don't like to eat out cause the food doesn't taste good.

I'm going to chime in and play devils advocate......
Could it be that you did not eat enough yesterday (nothing for Breakfast, no snacks) and so you ate more than usual today?
I know when I cut my cals way low for a 2 days by the 3rd I really pack it in. Would have been better if I just ate my normal amount on the other 2 days.
Just a thought.......

hi Ruth, thanks for chiming in...we can always use that. I have had some major health problems and would get real sick to my stomach when I would eat. Then I got to the point that I could eat seafood. Now I am getting to the point that I am able to eat more and more things. So that is why I am not eating right now. I am slowly getting better...now if all the health things would just disappear...wonderful if that would happen.
