George, my heart is breaking for the sadness that is in you and your family's life. It is always a difficult thing when facing such decisions. I was 45 when I had to make that decision for a DNR for my Mom and I can't imagine making those decisions at the age of 28.

My prayers are with you all.....I pray that God surrounds you all and keeps you all in the circle of His loving and healing arms. May He give you all peace, acceptance and understanding in this time of trial.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Aloha George.....This is one of those times I wish I had a magic wand that I could wave and make everything better. Life hurts sometimes.......and thankfully we have family and the OFF clan to help us through.

Sending a warm hug.

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

my day will start with my hep A &B shot in my wrm then work...tonite i need to empty my dresser so it can be picked up tomorrow.

last nite i did something which many would consider stupid but i did it and i don't really care! i took yard sale profits and spent them on a crosley CD recorder record player- the one that records the albums directly and can play them and has a radio--i have wante done since they came out and finally had some money AND it was on sale at Target...my target had ONE and they held it for me til i got there-so -it's a done deal and we can now play our albums and get rid of the stereo that michael got that i don't care for! and don't need any computer programs or anything to record the said albums...it will take a lot less space in teh living room and when we move it will go with us! hey- i never said i wa sthe smart one here!!!!!!!!!!

well- need to get moving ...sure  wish i could just stay in jammies all day - would be more comfy at work! ha!!!!!

hugs and prayers.............

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

oh linda i came so close!!!!!!!!! it just makes it miserable at work - there are 3 of us gals there from 8-noon and then a young man comes in til one of the gals leaves at 2 then the other gal-the judge-and i leave at 3--close close quarters as well- i just wanted to scream ...the part i didn't talk about ( about my 15 year old cat) was even worse -and her attitude -so pious and self righteous and ugggghhhhhhhhhhh

michael tells me i should just not talk but it's hard to sit so close with NO conversation at all- the stress of the job can be overwhelming enough...so we chit chat to break it up--i am going to be much more tight lipped tomorrow you best believe!!!!!!!!!

thanx for listening!!!!!!!!

Margo, when it is your natural tendacy to be friendly and open,it is hard not to talk.....
Do you know what people like that love most of all?? They love to talk about THEMSELVES. Let them prattle on,and try just sticking in a question now and then.
They are your co-workers,definitely not your friends.
The other thing that helps me is to consider the source. How much respect do you really have for these females?? That being said, how much should their opinions mean to you? How happy are they really??
I hope this helps a little...

Margo, the way I look at it, the rummage sale money was extra money...kind of like money from heaven...and that means that you can spend it any way you want to...so....if you wanted to spend every cent of it on penny candy (do they even have that anymore?????) that is your choice. You did the work to earn it so you get to do the "work" of spending it. I hope that you enjoy every moment with it.
