I know when I was in Las Vegas it was so nice. I went walking the strip in 110* weather and never broke a sweat...and I was really heavy then too. I thought to myself that is where I want to be....not really in Vegas but out in that part of the country.

I am planting a seed in Bill's ear...but it is hard to leave family right now. In fact it is hard to leave family anytime if you ask me. But mostly that precious grandson of ours. We waited so long for him I could never leave him now. He has us wrapped around his tiny little fingers. heck that happened before he was even born.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Aloha dear Brenda....I am worried about that infection. Please be very proactive in getting this taken care of. I lost a a dear friend who cut her toe and didn't take care of it, or did what we would all do......wash, disinfect, neosporin, etc. Eventually she began to hallucinate, and the infection had taken over her body...........and we lost her. I'm not sure I should tell you this, but since her death, I take infections VERY SERIOUSLY. Make sure that your doc does everything in his arsenal to kill those bugs!!

I will be waiting to hear that all is good.

With so much aloha,

Maui Karen

That "not sleeping" is really the pits isn't it Cheryl? I remember going through periods of insomnia and it was worst at around 2:00 AM. I felt so alone at that time and anxious about surviving work the next day.  I really hated having to deal with that. My sound machine and antidepressant has solved the problem for me thank goodness. Once in a while I need a xanex to get me to sleep if I am in a strange bed... :)- I'll take a few with me to Canada.
I'm getting ready to pack today. I got out the ironing board to press a few things and the iron is missing. I havent used it in months and I guess it is still lost from the renovations in the house. I am going out to buy a new one this morning.
I'm excited that I have a couple of OFFers to try to meet up with in Washington- Karen C. and Millie. I hope it works out.
I don't know what you are referring to in terms of being boring in posts Margo... I must have missed something. Everyday like can be boring at times but I don't mind reading about everyone's boring lives. I welcome the everyday lull myself. If anyone finds me boring here's what I think- too bad.
Pat, I wore those beautiful earrings yesterday and I got more compliments on them! Now- I get to go back to bed for another hour of blessed sleep! I LOVE sleep. But after that I have to crank up the volume and get to getting! Don't let me forget our passports!

I cannot remember the name of it but I bought it at walmart and it was under the same place where the foot fungal meds are.  In fact, it was the only one there for nail fungus and it came in a small bottle and looked like elmers glue.  It is wonderful.

Hey Judy, Judy,
My good friend who accepts all of my misfit crochet projects with gratitude, no matter how they look.
How are you doing ? Carla and I have had some good laughs so far. Wish you were here to join in and get some girl time.
I made a roast yesterday too, it turned out good. You will have to make one of your famous roasts next time you come to Michigan ( it sounds wonderful ).

Judy, here's what it says on the back of the bottle. Had to get my magnifying glass out to read it!  woodwardlabs.com  1-800-780-6999 Dr. G's Clear Nail antimicrobial solution. Good luck.

Good Afternoon (it is here) Sleepless in Spokane Cheryl,

I'm getting a late start this am....er, pm...

I'm as sad as can be - T-ball season has ended! Wish I could get another fix of the coconut knockers, as I call them. These little kids, I've said this before, have their first experience with "man protection" with T-ball. It's all one piece, built right into little undies.

They are the funniest thing to watch.  They stand in the outfield and pull the darn thing out and let it THWACK back.  But the most hilarious thing is when they sit on the bench in the dugout and start knocking on them.  It sounds like they're knocking on coconuts.  All of them...in a row...sitting there making coconut music.

Have a great day everyone!

Peace.... Elaine
All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press
on to your destination.

OMG-how hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!! i needed to hear about the coconut knockers!!!!!!!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I love your story...  those little tykes are soo much fun.....  it reminded me of a time my youngest son playing T-ball.

He was told he would be the catcher for the rest of the game but he needed a cup for protection.  He was to go to the snack shack to purchase one.  When he came back he had a styrofoam coffee cup ! ! ......  OMG we laughed over that for a long time.

I sure miss those days......   Thanks for the memory jog.  Millie
