It's Saturday. What's New?
Haven't heard about the road washing out yet, but I'm sure I'll have that in the paper tonight (I'm doing the region section). Last year we had one of these super storms on a Saturday night into Sunday morning, and a road washed out along the lakeshore, took one of our carriers along with it, killed a woman and her nephew. Happened right about this time. Road commission is being sued for it.
Eileen my husband is a tv tech and sounds like your tv is diffently fried! If you have unplugged it and plugged it back in and you have nothing then it is the tv grave yard for it! Sorry! I agree with using the free cycle site, craigslist, and there is usually in corrordination with freecycle a cheapcycle site in the area. So try where ever you are cheapcycle and even place a post for one and see what you get. Good Luck! Oh BTW if hit by lightning the tv would not be worth fixing because who knows how many little traces have been burnt from the lightning. Get a hold of your homeowners insurance company and see if it would be worth turning it in there as they should take care of it. Again good luck!
Debbie sorry to hear about being without your boat! When we were trying to save our credit rating we sold our lovely bass boat and had to move. Well the irony of the situation is now we live 5 min. from a huge lake with lots of fish where we used to live 3 hours away from one. SO we are where we could get lots of fish if we had a boat and don't have the boat! We sure do miss that boat! Hope to get another when the finances get better!
I am at my cousins and am going to take her back to Bloomington with me for a week! I sure hope it goes better this time than the last time she was up! She need to have WLS but is on Medicaid or Medicare and she says they won't pay for it. I find that hard to believe I think she is just scared to have it done. She has trouble getting in the tub and so therefore has bad body odor which me and my husband can't take after a while. She also complains about most everything so please pray for me to have patience and wish me luck!

Michelle ,,,,,Medicare and medicaide both will pay for wls.....postivitly.....medicare to pay it has to be at a center of excellence....but most every state has place now that are. and if medicare pays for it as the primary medicaid will pay what is left over. so tell her you know for Darn sure that they will pay...

Good Saturday morning to you, Eileen and my OFF family. I have my favorite day of the week here and nothing is going on. That might be a good thing since I am tired this morning.
We were thinking of going to Wanatah (a little town outside of Valparaiso) but I told Bill last night that I was tired and really didn't feel like going to them. Wanatah is a while away and it is going to be hot and humid and I do not feel like going through people's stuff looking for something that we don't need. He couldn't get a hold of Shawn either I am sure that we are missing nothing.
I am going to try to change my packing and bandages on my own today. I have a feeling that it is going to be alright. Not positive but if I can do it I would save a lot of problems. DS did tell me that she would come out on Tuesday and Thursday if I can do it. She told me that if I run into problems and can't do it to just call her and she will come out. Wish me luck that I can do it and not have any problems. I feel pretty positive about it so.....
I had a hard time sleeping last night. I stayed up reading until after 3 this morning and then I just got up and took 2 extra strength Tylenol and finally I relaxed enough to fall asleep. The phone rang early and it made me jump and then after that call I couldn't fall asleep again and Misty was there purring so loud. I finally got up and now Misty is off sleeping again. It somehow seems unfair to me...but I am sure that Misty doesn't seem like it is. She always seems to get the best end of the deal......
I went to a resale shop yesterday and got a pair of capris and 2 dresses that are so pretty and best of all....they fit! I got them all for half price and so I paid $9.00 for the whole thing. I came home and tired them on and they looked nice on me. The one has a zipper and so I had some problems with that one. It also had shoulder pads and it made me look like a football player...so of course they are coming out. I just don't feel like putting a number on my dress with the pads in it. ha ha The other dress is a bit big but it will do for summer. It is a sleeveless dress with a very short jacket to match the dress. But my favorite one is the shoulder pad dress because it has beautiful lilacs on it...which is my favorite flower, right along with gorgeous pearl buttons. I just love going in and getting clothes off the rack along with "normal" sized people. Another plus is shopping in resale shops and Goodwill let alone rummage sales. How much better can it get???
I best get goin'. I am sure that I am boring everyone to tears. Didn't mean to but yes.....my life is so boring! I am sending love and hugs to all along with prayers being said. Make sure that you spread the seeds of your happiness and joy around so that others can start to plant them too...your seeds but that is fine.

I am at work right now. Waiting for the insurance office down the hall to come in. The agent passed away, so they are selling the furniture. I got a computer desk with a hutch and a regular desk for $140. Gotta move it today, so will store it in my office here.
We are having a tv delivered today from one of those rental places. We will own it in 12 months. 42 inch plasma. I was going to go bigger, but everyone was saying the 60 inch would be too big for my living room. Says who? But Mary seems to agree with them, so I will give in. Afterall, getting my HD. Called UVerse to add the HD package and they did me good. It is normally $10 a month extra. They gave me more stations, plus the HD stations, plus sped up my internet for $15 a month and are giving me a $40 check for doing it. After 4 months, I will look into cutting back the stations. I will probably go back to the 200 stations. Right now I have 450. That is a lot.
So, this evening I already plan to plop myself in front of my HD tv and watch the Rangers. They have got to get it together. Eileen, you will understand my frustration over this, but not sure how many others will. They got a runner to 3rd base with less than 2 outs twice last night in the first two innings and did not score him. That is not championship play.

I'm going to check freecycle, but if there's nothing there, I will have to go with the rental places because I have no credit available, being in bankruptcy, and no money. And I really need to have a TV because it's my only entertainment. I don't really need a big one or a plasma TV, but I don't see they have just regular TVs available. I placed a "wanted" ad on freecycle, so we'll see what I get.

I wish I could get Uverse but AT&T, my phone company, wants a credit card from me to add it, and I don't have credit cards, nor do I want them. So I'm stuck with Comcast. But at least I have the MLB channel, which Uverse doesn't offer up here.

I've been thru bankruptcy and couple times with my ex, and let me tell you, it is so much easier to buy after that cause your credit report shows nothing outstanding, guess that's why he went thru it a couple times....

We are waiting for my SIL and her husband to arrive for a few hours. They are visiting in Virginia from TExas.
I have a wedding at 4PM this afternoon to officiate at. It is outdoors, and with temperatures in the 90's and very humid I hope no one passes out (especially the preacher)
My grandkids will come home with us this evening and go to SS with us tomorrow morning.
