Hi Im posting from beautiful Traverse city Michigan. I am visiting Nan for a few days before Carl comes a week from Monday.......
I took a mile walk in nans woods. Very pretty. She has deer in her woods and we didnt see any but saw the tracks. The wild rapsberry bushes are blooming. She should have a ton of raspberrys about the first week in July.
Do you know what Nan calls the tourist? fudgies!!!!! So does that make me one? Maybe not cause I was a Michigander at one time in my life!!!!!!!
Well talk on folks, Im going to bed!!!!!

Happy father's day to all you dads.  I'm typing as quietly as I can because Mathew decided that the day bed in my office was his and he is going to sleep on it.  Well, it is his bed.  It's an old bed twin metal bed that is an antic and he and granddad stripped it and re painted it and it's gorgeou; however, Mathew always sleeps with us.  He has this tradition of going to bed with me and me telling him stories.  Baby Girl's crib is in our room too, so we all are together.  Well, he broke tradtition last night and now I am having to type very quietly.  Even the Kitty is not liking him being on her nappying bed.  LOL.
Well, today will be more chasing of Baby Girl and Mathew.  We will play in the little pool, if it doesn't rain.  Later, we may go to the park.
Last night, we baked Granddad a cake for father's day, and Mathew wanted to put candles on it and so we did, and they he wanted to light them and so we did and then he wanted granddad to blow them out why we sung happy father's day to granddad.  Now, here's the thing, we will do that at least two more times because the kids love seeing candles on cakes. LOL
The jello jigglers were a success and we are making more today.
Man oh man, I know why women lose their ability to concieve around this age.  I am worn out and still have two more days. LOL
you all have a good day

Good day all!  We are getting a visit from my stepson and his wife today in honor of dad.  What fun!

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Good morning Carla and everyone......

I had a good day yesterday. My boyfriend brought me steak and cheesy scrambled eggs for breakfast. He got up early just to make it and get it to me before breakfast was served here.

One of my dearest friends from out of town came to visit me. I hadn't seen her in such a long time. That was a great surprise.

In the afternoon Dwayne came and took me out for a ride in the car. It was good to  get away for a little while!!

I am still hoping to go home on Wednesday. I am so ready to be in my own surroundings!!

I hope all the dads out their have a wonderful "Father's Day". This day always makes me miss my dad. He sure was a good dad!

I wish everyone a wonderful day. Share a smile with a stranger....it might be just what they need!

Special prayers to those in need.

Love and hugs to all.....connie d

Connie, I will most certainly include in my prayers for you to please help you to go home on Thursday. It isn't going to hurt.

I am so glad that he brought you something that is good for you to eat. I know that the stuff they sometimes serve to people in places like you are in isn't always the best. Nothing beat a good breakfast when the food stinks on a whole. ha ha

It is great that you got out and about a bit yesterday even if it was a for a ride. I bet that time went fast too. It won't be long and you will be out and about just like you were before this whole thing started. Just bide your time and know that in all good time.....

I know what you mean about remembering your Dad on this day. There isn't a time that I don't remember mine either but today makes special memories come back. I miss my Dad so much. It is sometimes hard to believe that he has been gone for 39 years now. In a way the time has gone so fast and others it seems like forever. I was 15 when he died so I most of the time feel that I missed out on a lot.

Hello sister Carla and all my OFF sibs. I want to wish our brothers and brother in laws out there a happy Father's day today. May you all have a wonderful and relaxing day.

Bill is up already and would rather be in bed but Heidi came right after getting off her midnight shift and she changed the packing's and bandages on my owies. He got up and is now watching Three Men and a Baby. We get Kayden at 8:30 and then we are getting a fast small breakfast before church. I am sure that Kayden will enjoy his breakfast as well....milk.

At church today we are having a men's choir coming and singing. I hear that they are so good and so I am really looking forward to it. They come from various church's in Merrillville and so they are all denominations. After services we are having a small gathering with cake and cheese and vegetable trays for a reception for Father's day.

It is suppose to hotter than blue blazes today and I am not looking forward to that at all. I hate the humidity. I once had my cardiologist tell me to stick my head out the door and if I say it is hot or it is cold I am suppose to stay in. I looked at him and said that I live in Northwest Indiana and if I did that I would never leave my house. Heck, any more we have 2 seasons now~summer and winter. When I was a kid we had all 4 seasons and loved every one of them. This year we seem to have had spring so that is different anymore. Today is the first day of summer and so the heat index will go up now since the weather automatically knows that! ha ha  Anything for a chance to hit us with more heat and humidity.

I better get going. I am going to put make up on today and that will be the first time since April. I must be getting better...I want to look decent. ha ha
I am wearing a skirt set that I got at a resale shop today. It fits so good and it is a size 14 I think. I remember how happy I was when I got in a 18 then ecstatic when I got into a 16 but now there is a 14! How great is that????

I am sending love and hugs to everyone and prayers are going up for all too. Have a great Sunday and remember to plant you happiness and joy seeds for others to enjoy.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good morning all.  Happy Fathers Day to all you fellow fathers out there.

Today is my dad's 86th birthday.  Called him this morning to give him best wishes.

Going to Penny's house this afternoon.  Celebrating her birthday and Fathers Day.   Then gonna have to get home to get a quick nap in prior to work.

Laid around watching my new TV last night.  Watched two new game shows on GSN.  20Q and Money List.  Will watch them again if I think of it.  Caught up on almost all my DVR'd shows.  All except Bones.  Still have 15 episodes to watch.

Time to go to Sunday School and Church.  See you all tonight.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
