Linda you are right about us gals who had to be both mama and daddy.  The really sad part was being daddy made being mama so rough.
I baked a ham for hubby and the kids so today I am storing up on meat.  While I have a hard time with some pork, I can eat ham off the bone but not out of the package.  I think they may process the packaged stuff with sugar.
B:  turkey bacon and egg
S: cheese stick
L: Ham, cauliflower, deviled eggs. If I can do it all.
S: I don't know, maybe some more cheese
D:  Of course that would be more ham and leftover potato salad.  I don't like it when it is first made.  Love it a few hours later.
S:  cheese stick

Good news on the protein front.  I still don't have the unjury; however, I did make me one of the old ones that I have tried in the past and I mixed it with 1/2 a cup of soy milk and a 1/2 cup of coffee.  OKay, it wasn't great, but I didn't throw it up.  I get weighed this week and I be damned if I hear any negativity from my doc. I have a new dietician too.  She is here in my town.  So, here's to hope that she is good and going to do me right.

Hiya Jeanie,I think the ham near the bone is the tenderest and most tasty, and most lean.Potato salad is also tastier when it sets and the flavors "marry" each other....mmmm delectable.
Your menu sounds so tasty and healthy, I do hope you enjoy your Unjury,I am sorry to say I did not,I am so not a fan of protein drinks. I did however enjoy Achievone very much in the early days,to each its own. I do have a soy protein drink calledrevival that I like, and when I am afraid my protein is running low,I slip Beneprotein into things, soup or what ever,it is very fine, and even my finicky daughter likes it.
My kids dad was always around,as was mine,I do not know if it was a blessing or a curse. I think the moms who had to be both mom and dad have it very hard, but I do notice those men tend to be loving and choose strong women.
My grands know their dad's and love them, but I would not give a nickle for either of them,I do not let my grands know this however..
Many times, when the men are around, the moms end up re-raising them too....smile.
I like men,but I do find the ones who love their mom, make better spouses,IMHO.
I know that dietician wil do right by you,or you will give her what for,you are not to be trifled with, that does not mean you are mean, just strong, which is good.
I hope you have a great day,and I do wish you could mail me some good old southern potato salad.
Be well,kind lady.

Good Morning Dear Linda.....

Another day closer to going home!!

I had a friend from another town stop in to visit yesterday....what a nice surprise! Dwayne took me out for a car ride  in the afternoon. It was so nice to get away even for a little while.

My meals are an unknown today. Yesterday morning Dwayne brought me steak and cheesy scrambled eggs for breakfast....YUMMY!!

I am shooting for Wednesday as a release day....that will be great!

Love you much ...gentle hugs.....Boo...to you!

My sweet sweet Boo!! I am so happy you had some company!! You are such a sweet person, you draw and give energy to people, and your not having them around is like not having sunshine.
It certainly shows what kind of person you are to have Dwayne to still wanting to be around your sweetness.
Charles,my new gentleman friend likes to play with the flab on my underarms (blush),how freaky....errrr sweet does it get.
He says it is sooooo soft. When a man can take a sore spot and make you feel good about it,I say he is a keeper.
I think he helped me find a good new erotic spot, how strange.
I hope I made you laugh babygirl.
Hugs!

Linda,

I'm feeling a bit discouraged this morning.  When getting dressed this morning, I put on a pair of capris that fit me perfectly last summer - couldn't zip them up.  So I tried a different pair - same problem.  And I still have 6 more weeks to survive before I get to see my new bariatric surgeon.  I'm not sure if I need a fill or what because my weight keeps creeping up.  I eat 1300-1500 calories a day and burn an average of 2000 calories a day, so this just doesn't make sense to me.

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: pork chop, orange avocado vinaigrette
S: cheese
D: corned beef, carrots
S: honeydew melon

Dog gone Jean, you eat so well!! I am swollen right now,but I know why,too much pork, and I don't care. You are effected though.
I only have one suggestion, and I vow it works. Up your green good carbs, lots!! I vow it burns fat and is a great detox. Try it,ok??
Many hugs and well wishes!! You can eat any green, yellow or red veggies.
Attack that fat girl!!! And wear something pretty and comfy.and look at some pics from a few years back and see how far you have come. Remember,no one is gonna notice those few pounds but you,so castrate that dragon!!
