Prayers needed

I would normally request this on the What's New thread, but I wanted to get this out sooner. And I wanted as many people praying as possible.

Brad called and said Oleta had texted him to get in touch with the pastor, she needed to see him ASAP. Her mother took a turn for the worse. Oleta spoke with the pastor, and they are going to speak to the doc's either today or tomorrow about lessening the medications her mother is on, in an effort to get her in a more coherent condition to make decisions about what to do. Primarily regarding life support.

Please pray hard for Oleta during this time. Pray for Brad that he is there for Oleta. And pray for Mary. She has had the grandkids every day except 3, for the last 3 weeks. She has had little time to herself, but she keeps on going.

George, I am keeping you all in my prayers. May God keep you all in the embrace of His loving arms giving you all peace, understanding and strength. I pray that Oleta is given knowledge and wisdom for the things that lie ahead of her.

Blessings to Mary for the helpfulness that she is showing. May she have continued strength for what lies ahead for her also.

Please keep us posted on how things are going and know that we are here for all of you during this hard time in your lives. We continue to keep you and yours in prayers and good thoughts.

It's a difficult decision for Oleta to have to make. I would suggest that everyone discuss this topic with their spouses and children. I know I have. I already told my hubby that if I see the light during this RNY surgery, I'm going to it. He didn't like hearing that, but I wasn't kidding.
