Good morning.  I decided to start the thread today because I did want to share one of the Bible verses from today.

Proverbs 17:22

 22 A cheerful disposition is good for your health;

gloom and doom leave you bone-tired.

I posted on a seperate thread about my prayer request.
Had a relatively good Father's Day.

Let us know how your weekend went.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

george; thanks for getting us started this moring!
i was up at 4:00 -had breakfast- going in to work at 6 til 3----if i do this 3 days i can make up friday's time (i already have an hour ahead) so i can be home to yard sale with michael...i was in bed before 8:30 last nite and i just kept remembering summer nites as a kid..."but mom, it's not dark yet!!!"

nothing really new- no denim  jumpers at goodwill- well- 1 but not big enough.....it was a medium i need a large....

the dogs were up at 245 watching the birds that we brought home saturday- their cages are in our bedroom til we integrate them with the birds in the rest of the flock...and they were having some issues where we had feathers ruffling and noise..not night frights but unrest....so of course both dogs were right there watching...roxie sure licks her lips loudly!!!!!

michael is having company today at lunch time- so he cleaned off the kitchen table- oh no! i may never find anything again!!! (that's a private joke with me!!!!the daughter of a pack rat raised by another pack rat!!!!!)

well- i have lots to talk about but i don't think now is the time nor do i think everyone is interested- mainly thoughts about our hawaii move and some of the logistics of it..mostly about the dogs and brids and dept of agriculture  and vetting etc.....it would take too long to explain some of it --maybe you'll get it in bits and pieces....and then there is the renting ( with pets) vs buying (don't want to be stuck with another house right away!) thing....ah well...later maybe......yesterday i spent over two hours wading thru the dept o****tuff about the process to get the animals into the state! (Hawaii has no rabies and no ticks so they are strict about a lot! i'll explain someday)and then there is trying to find a carrier (plastic kennel/crate) large enough for brody to fly in--may have to get one custom built--ouch!  some very important decisions to make as a pet owner/lover....and i'm not even talking about my cat....ok- sorry-said more than i wanted to this morning already....

i think i need another cuppa....

so- hugs and prayers for all....

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Mary wants to go to Hawaii, but we probably never will.  May make it to San Francisco some day.  Want to go to their ballpark.  Could probably hit it and Oakland on the same trip.

Good Morning George, Margo & OFFr's,

George, glad you had a nice Father's Day!

Margo, so you are going to move to Hawaii, WOW!  I have missed some real stuff here, that is pretty cool, which Island and whatever made you decide to move to Hawaii, not that I wouldn't want to live in such surroundings, just wondering how you ended up with that decision?

Anyway,
I am up for the last hour, made my bed, put all the dishes away, started my water intake and now I am going toput on the coffee, figure what to take for lunch this week and hop in the shower to get ready for work, after work I will be hitting the gym, that's my plan for the day!  Hope what your doing is more exciting (lol)!

Have a great day all!

Hugs, Laureen

You know George, you're right, I am a person with high energy, which is funny, because I take it for granted, as I thought about it, I realized that 2 years ago, I did not have the energy to do what I did in the course of my early morning today, it was a big effort to get myself out of the bed and into the shower so that I could go to work. . .  and then when I got home, it was make a meeting and go to bed and I was usually exhausted when I got off the bus after working and commuting, now I have loads of energy, it's a great thing!  I am blessed thanks to modern medicine and the efforts I've put into the last almost 20 months. . .  hmmm, I feel G R E A T!!!  lol

It is funny to me reading it because you are set to get up and go, when my night is winding down and all I want to do is go to bed.

the big island -probly up the Hamaku Coast (north of Hilo)

michael had lived on Maui and on the big island for a total of almost 12 years-( he helped to build a shopping center in Ocean View!)  we had visited in 2007 to see if i liked it and we hated coming home but you know the worker's comp thing AND the house to sell- then the real estate market went blooey so we stopped trying--anyhow- we thought we could go to panama and live cheaper but panama wasn't for us- the things we liked there we can have in hawaii...soooooooooooo

now- to sell the house!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is the only thing holding us back-of course - we have to vet the dogs and get stuff ready and they have a 120 day quarantine here in house before they can go there -after they get their microchips and their special blood test....

and i'll tell you what i told george- buy your plane ticket and we'll pick you up at the airport! you can stay with us!
hugs!
