Good Morning
Well I am officially old. I returned late yesterday evening from Dallas after attending my grandson's 4th birthday party. It was held at a place called " Pump it up" . Had never heard of this place. Well, it contains all that bounces and Saturday that included my loose skin. There are two bouncy rooms and a party room. You spend 40 minutes in each bouncy room and then go to the party room for eats and your party. The first room contained a giant bouncy slide. You climbed up "steps" to the top (abount 20') Then slid down the slide. There were a couple of bounce houses as well. One smaller one and a larger one than had basket ball hoops inside. There was another slide that was a maze that ended at a smaller slide abount 12'. The second room was similar. I never thought I would attempt to climb an inflated set of steps to slide down an inflated slide. I had trouble getting up the inclined platform that was only a two foot rise before getting to the first step of the ladder. You were supposed to keep socks on and my socks were slipping and instead of getting a grip they slipped right off my feet. I would be back on level ground with my socks lying on the incline. I finally broke the rules and took them off. Only one kid noticed and commented on the socks on rule. Well several trips up the ladder and down the slide, and a few trips to the bouncy houses and I was worn out. DH had it worse. My GS neighbor a 4 year old girl latched on to him and kept him in and out of bouncy houses and up and down slides non stop. I am proud to say that we both survived but incurred a few sore muscles. The WOW is I would never have tried this 90 pounds ago. I would have been sitting on the bench with the other grandma sharing her cane to get up and down off the bench. I had a lot of fun and hope next time I will have lost the last 30 pounds I want to loose and will be even more able to tackle all the "stuff".
