If this Charles thing doesn't work out, remember, I am retired military too.  LOL.

Good day eating.  I was disappointed with my weight yesterday, so I really had to watch it.

2 quesodillas (1 Lunch, 1 Supper)
1 cup pinto beans
1 omelet

15 M&M's
5 SF cookies
Cheese

1 microwave popcorn

That was everything for the day.  Hopefully it does me good.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

George, you are too funny. I will not have your family coming around to kill me over you. I may be prejudiced, but I am a very strong willed woman, and military guys so far have been the only ones I feel safe with.
It is great the way you stay on top of your weight, and nip a gain in the bud,I try to do the same thing. I hate it when I swell and will not rest until my legs feel slender again.
You are also right about one day at a time,no need to press the panic button, just eat low on the hog for a few days. I have to watch processed meats and such,my body does not like them.
Wonderful hearing from you once again.
This is what my daughter does not understand about me,there is nothing to work out with Charles,I like to date, have fun,but never plan to go deep, like marriage and definitely not living together,I guess that makes me a little strange.

Linda,

Never say never!

I said the same thing about dating, having fun, nothing deep, no marriage, no cohabitation...then a friend introduced me to this guy...and we've been married for 22 years!

oh you two wild posters, you started my day off with a grin!!!

yesterday was great i said no more of this weight anxiety and was fab
all day

protein shakes, a small salad with canned chicken for lunch

protein shake snack,

1 cheese stick

1/3 of a chicken breast with a few sauteed shrooms

so now i figure im in like flynn for a good monday

i had a glass of flat soda after supper at least 45 minutes later.

then around 8:30 im deciding on another shake, or protein bar, but decided
to finish some greek yogurt in the frig.

well not sure what happened, something made me SICK as a dog.  i havent
felt that way in a long long long time.  i was up to the wee hours in pain, and my
tummy is hurting and raw today.  not sure what triggered it, but sad to say, maybe
this was a good reminder of how touchy the pouch can be.

anyway, im drinking tea this morning, no way am i up to my usual coffee.

not sure what i will eat today, nothing appeals at the moment.

hugs to all, jacki

Morning Linda and all:
I'm with you Linda - at 70 I would like to have a "friend", but not
a serious relationship/marriage....so far my phone hasn't rang!!  LOL

Yesterday was a very good day (I prayed hard for strength)
B - carb master yogurt/kashi/walnuts
L - grilled ckn breast, sm salad
D - Lean Cuisine chicken dinner with WW pasta

I ate a few bites of the pasta - I should know better, about 8:30
I started feeling sick and sure enough everything came up....yuk.
My pouchie still feels a little tender this morning, so I am drinking
my green tea and will probably have plain yogurt for breakfast.  I
hope there is nothing stuck down there....will see how the day goes
and will drink plenty of water.

Hugs and prayers to all,
Pat R.

Pat,it shows how hard you are trying. Have you had trouble with pasta before? I have just started eating it.and mines is so chock full of veggies, including black olives,I am probably not get much pasta in. I like the vegetable pasta that made with spinach and such,I do not use mayonaise, rather  little a little olive oil.
Keep me posted. Also yes, only want a dating relationship, not trying to settle down,I am settled within myself.
Hang in there girl!
