XP Has anyone ever....

developed Gall Bladder problems after WLS even if you were taking Actigall or any other drug that's supposed to prevent Gall Bladder problems???  I'm having some major discomfort in that area and was just wondering......

Marlee, That is one the the major side effects of WLS, I have no idea why but many people end up with having their gall bladders removed soon after the surgery. Some surgeons even removed the gall bladder during wls. If you feel you are having problems, do have it checked out.. Blessings

yes it happens even taking the actigal. Rapid weight loss affects the gall bladder.
Actigal is suppose to help relieve some of the stress on the gall bladder but like all mediicines, some work better on others ...
