Prayers Needed

My niece is in an induced coma. She is considered brain dead. The doctors are running hundreds of tests trying to figure out what happened to her. She wasn't feeling well for a couple days, Friday morning she collapsed and has been out ever since.  She is a organ donor so as soon as they finish a bunch of tests they will unplug her life support and take her to an operating room. Once there they will wait 90 minutes for her to pass. If she doesn't pass in that 90 minute window, they have to hook her back up. I am not sure what happens after that. It is just a matter of time. It has been awefully hard to have to deal with this for me and the whole family. Thanks for your support!

Sorry to hear that, Dorothy. What happened to her? You have my support, and your family is in my thoughts. I'm sure this is a hard time for your family. The fact that she is an organ donor tells me she is a very caring person.

She is a very caring person. The doctors don't really know what happened to her. They can't find anything wrong. They are hoping that when they do the autopsy they will be able to figure it out. She is only 36 years old.
Thanks for your support.

Dorothy, I'm so sorry. I convinced my kids to become organ donors. In some small way I think that would help as much as anything could. To know  that someone would be able to see, or live life fully with a new heart or lungs or a kidney. I think that would give me some peace. Life's cycle can be so tough sometimes. She's so young. My heart goes out to you and yours.
