Hi everyone,
went to the hospital today and had my stress test. They did it with an IV and sped up my heart. Per my doctors request. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Only the pressing of the appliance she used hurt. A lot of pressure. But, the doctors said my heart looked good so that is all I care about.
We also had the Nurse and the dietician go over the diets and what is going to happen during and after surgery. I have one more appointment before my surgery date of JUly 14th.
I am getting nervous and excited at the same time!

Thank you! Now I am going to be worrying about the next step. I go on July 8th for pre admit. I think they do blood work and such.

Glad it all worked out. I didn't think it was all that bad, other than the drug made me so thirsty ... went for lunch afterward to Red Lobster and drank about a pitcher and a half of water.
My heart was OK, too, by the way. The cardiologist was surprised. He thought because I was so obese that I must have a bad ticker, but it was fine.

HI! I didn't notice being that thirsty afterward. All I knew is I wanted a cup of coffee since I had to fast.
