Good morning all.  I've got about 20 minutes left at work, then will go home to get 5 hours of sleep.  My son is helping me move some furniture I picked up at a good price.  An insurance company in the building where my part time job is closed it's doors because the agent passed away.  So the surviving spouse was selling all the office furniture.  I bought 2 desks, a credenza with a hutch, and a bookcase for $190.

Oleta's mother is still hanging on.  But it is not looking good.

Yesterday Mary went to see a musical with my daughter and her two daughters.  A girls day out.  They had a blast.  Then they went to our nephew's graduation party.  I was at the ballgame with Eddie, so my son brought my wife home.  She said her day was going good.  He drove past the cemetary where her mother is buried.  We have not gone to visit the gravesite since she passed.  We went once to her father's site, and Mary broke down.  Anyway, as they were driving by, Oleta was talking about the fact that they already have a plot for her mother, and she wants our pastor to do the service.  It was all Mary could handle.

Anyway, we still need desperate prayers for Oleta to be strong and handle things.  She is a tough little cookie.  She raised her brother and her sister because her mom and dad were never around.  They liked to party.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Good Sunday morning to you, Susan and my OFF siblings. I hope this first day of a brand new week is great for you. The year just keeps ticking away, doesn't it?

I am going to Wal Mart this morning to get a few things that are needed. Nothing great....mostly for the fact that it isn't pay day for a few days. ha ha
Once that day comes I will be there getting all the other stuff that we need from there. But today I have to get Misty food or she will starve to death and that wouldn't be a pretty sight. I doubt that she would think so either for that matter. She is after all my little baby girl....

Bill is already gone to go fishing this morning. He and our nephew is taking David's little girl with them. She so loves going and sitting in the boat. Bill said that she has her own fishing pole and sometimes she fishes but most of the time she just sits in the boat and watches things. She just turned 6 last month. I am glad that Bill spends time with her....she just loves her Uncle Bill...they go swimming together and he helps her learn to swim. She loves the attention that he gives to her.

We didn't go to Shawn and Carol's for the cook out. Shawn called and canceled since his aunt is in the hospital and they are taking her down to Indianapolis to find out where she keeps bleeding from. I can't tell you how long she has needed blood transfusions because they can't find why she keeps bleeding. Personally I would have found another doctor and hospital long before now but then that is just me. I have known his aunt for almost 40 years. I don't talk to her anymore...we had a problem some years ago and I felt that she was just not really truthful and trustworthy....and she just keeps showing the same things over and over again through the years. She and I had it out a few months ago because of Shawn. Shawn didn't speak to her since she said the things that she did about him (she has a habit of not telling the truth about things and people) that wasn't true. But he told me that now this happened she hasn't seen Kayden and he wants her to see him before she goes down to Indy and so he was taking him to see her. I told Bill that I didn't think that a hospital is where Kayden should be but I am not saying anything...things would be taken wrong I am sure. I told Bill that the hospital is so full of infections and such that if you want to catch something go to one of those.

I should get going. After Wal Mart Carolyn and Brittany are coming so Carolyn can do the bandages and packing today. I am glad that she is doing the stuff now and not our nephews girlfriend. There was some health issues with her doing it and it bothered all of us..the nurse, my sister and myself. But that is another story....

I am sending love and hugs to all along with prayers for everyone. Have a great day and don't forget to spread the seeds of happiness and joy around you today....it pays in the end.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

I went to bed yesterday around four and woke up at six this morning.  Well, the truth is, I had an allergy attack and had to take my allergy pill and it knocked me on my butt.  But, I needed the rest.  Today, I'll play catchup.

George, I know how your wife feels.  My mother died when I was a child and every time I go to her grave, I still cry.  I miss her terribly and wish that she had lived long enough to meet my children.  Our granddaughter is named after my mother and I can not even use her name, I must call her Baby.  She looks like my mom too.

Today, I hope it cools off and isn't so hot.  I am heading up to the school to meet the technical guy to show me how to use the smart room where my classes are bing held this summer II.  I know how to use those rooms in the more modern buildings; however, this smart room is in an old building and it has a different panel and the controls are weird.  So, that will take quiet a bit of my afternoon time.

Mosdt of the day will be getting that paper completed. It's almost done. Yeah!

I am allergic to oak and pine and nut trees. I'm also allergic to dust and cat dander and yes I have a cat and I love her and sacrifice my itchy eyes for her to be in my lap all the time. LOL.  I do take allergy shots and they do help but sometimes, I end up with hives and the only way to fix them is to take the atarax and steroids.  I'm doing the medro dose pack now and hopefully it will get rid of the hives before class on Monday.  I have two huge oak trees and three walnut trees in my back yard and yesterday, I went out and helped the hubby pick up some small limbs that came down during the last wind and I guess it was enough to set me off.  The doctor said the allergy shots never get rid of the reactions completely and sometimes they just flare up for no reason. I know that getting out in the back yard was a bad ideal.  Especially since the leaves are all popped out now and the nuts are making.  And our vet gave us this stuff to rub on the kitty and it does reduce the dander.  Funny, I get use to her but my daughter's cat sends me into allergy hell. LOL

One good thing about the atarax, for me, I can take one and am good for a few days; however, that one knocks my butt out. My husband calls them my ***** pills. LOL  I do get a little iritable when I take one.

Good Morning Susan and Friends,

My last day here with my C and H Sugar twins. Yesterday was beautiful here and both had slept well. Clara still wheezing a bit but her breathing treatments seem to be clearing her lungs.

We took them to an "Egg Festival" parade in the little town of Winlock about 20 miles from Erin's home. What fun! A regular old fashioned parade. Horses, tractors, the "Egg Queen and court" on a float shaped like an egg. Lots of fair food that smelled way too greasy so it didn't even tempt me. Fire engines, horses, lots of candy thrown from the floats, politicians in their beautiful old cars and a carnival with mosty kiddy rides.

I'm sure the whole town looks forward to it all year long. Clara was happy to watch from her stroller and wave to the pretty girls and the fire engines. Every time Erin got Hannah out of the stroller she wanted to join in and march upstream! She is such a cutup and a little flirt. She loves to tease and be "chased" and tickled. She has a little belly laugh that just melts my heart.

I'm exhausted but will miss them so much. Sure wish they lived a couple of hours closer.

I'm hoping to get to meet up with Julia later today for a short visit as they come down I-5. My oldest brother and his significant other are coming down in the early afternoon to spend a couple of hours since we didn't get to go up there. Sure hope it isn't at exactly the same time!

Hope you all have a nice day.

This year, our Mathew got to ride in the little town parade that they have in our home town.  Baby Girl saw him and started waving and laughing and Mathew yelled out, hey Nana, look at me.  LOL.  It was cute.  He is a ham too and does anything to get attention.  His favorite is to make funny faces.  If he thinks someone is sad, he will do the funny face and say no smile.

I am like you and wish my babies were closer.  I miss them all terribly but am so happy when I am a few miles away. Funny how they are so precious and so sweet but do wear us nanas out.

Good Morning Susan and all,

I am sitting on the back porch and actually slept till 6am! I have not slept that late in years. Very nice.

I got the house all cleaned including the back porch so that always makes me feel so good. It's the same when I get a full tank of gas, or get the groceries all put away, or the laundry all finished... I feel rich when these things are complete. Maybe because it doesn't happen very often....

Will pick up my HS Best Friend at noon and will walk down the alley for Mexican food. I am nervous and will be glad when it's over.

This week is only a 4 day work week as I have Thursday Friday and Monday off. So I guess week after that is a 4 day also . Yay!

George, so sorry to hear about your DIL's mom.

Brenda, hope that darn infection and wound get better soon.

Margo, hope your garage sale makes gobs of money today.

Karen, hope you get to meet up with Julia and your brother!

Pat, good thoughts and prayers going up for you!

Cheryl
