i'm cheating by about 10 minutes but i am going to bed--carla is leaving at the buttcrack of dawn to go pick up her sweetie in chicago and then...well she can fill you in...

It's really still sunday Night, but since I havent posted much this weekend, I will bite!!
I do have another place to go in the a.m, for application for work. Sure would like
something to break here soon. Real tired of filling these apps, giving my resume & never hearing a word. I know I am not alone, but, it sure get me down.
Other than that wen to a neorology (spelling) Dr. the other day & found out I have
a pinched nerve i n my neck & elbow, so have to go tomorrow aftrnoon for more
testing to see if it can be fixed with physical theropy or just whats next.
At least they found something & the pain I was feeling was not from going crazy or
dreaming the pain. I get tired of people telling me it's all in my head. NOTTTT, it
is in my back, stupid.
Any ways that it for me!! Here's to better week!!
I just need to remember God is good all the time & Our side.
Hug & prayers sent out to everyonewho needs & keep those prayers out there for
Me. I need them & accept all.

 I've been wondering how you were doing with the job search.  I know it is frustrating.  I've watched several of my friends and neighbors going through the same thing.  It's hard to give encouragement because it sounds so hollow.  I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts.  

I too have a pinched nerve in my neck and it affects my nerves all the way down my arm.  I've had physical therapy which helps but I also have degeneration in my neck bones so not all of this will go away.  The tip of my left index finger is always numb.... something I will have to live with... ughhh.

Sometimes, I would like to give some of these dr.s a good flick on the forehead! I hate when I know something is wrong, really wrong and they seem like they are thinking it's in my head...I'll show em what's in my head!

Continued good wishes on finding a job. My husband is one of the newly unemployed after 12 years at his job and has had hardly ANY bites....
Don't know what to say...just know it's tough.

My brother has nerve problems in his neck. He'll have to have surgery to get it fixed, it's so bad. He has no feeling in his left hand.

On top of that, AIG is closing his office next year. So he'll be out of a job (no, he is not one of the reasons AIG has problems; he runs the print office at AIG Milwaukee, the insurance division, which was actually profitable before the idiot in London brought it all down). Anyway, because he's management, he'll be employed through the end of February, then get paid through April because of WARN (I actually know what it stand for, but can't remember ... but it's a law that if a company closes a plant or office, they have to give employees 60 days notice).

I hope your job hunt is successful soon. I know how tough that can be. You're in my thoughts.

Good morning all.  Suffice it to say the day has not been great.  Got about 5 hours of sleep, but in 3 shifts.  I wish my son could understand the words "I am going to sleep now".  Less than 2 hours later he calls.  Grrrr.  At least he did get my desks to my house. 

Tomorrow morning when I get home, I will try to move the big desk to Mary's scrapbook room of the month.  This time it is the sunroom.  I want to do it when I get home as that is the coolest time of the day.

Let me go surf a little bit.  My work is caught up right now.

Well if I was there to scrapbook with Mary, I woud help you move the desk. I  cant move my scrapbook room as I only have 6 rooms in my house and my scrapbook stuff sits under my desk!!!!!
Well today is the day I leave to go and get my DH. He arrive at Midway at 1pm. Should be interesting today as my daughter better tell us she was propsed to.
So down the Ohio and Indiana Turnpike  I go.
Do you know I have a new name......Igo.......

What is it about people who don't work odd hours who insist on waking those of us up who do? I get calls at 8 or 9 a.m. and people say, "Oh, did I wake you up? I'm sorry." They know I work late and don't go to bed til 2 or 3 in the morning, yet they still call early (not talking about you, Margo, you called at a decent hour, I just wasn't up yet). My family is fairly considerate, but other people don't really understand.

Hey, my White Sox had a pretty good weekend. Any weekend they beat the Cubs 2 of 3 is good. Wish is was a sweep, though. But I'll take it.
