Dear Pat,of course you are nervous, who would not be? You have a good doctor, and if he is like mine, you have taken a gazillion tests to make sure you are a good candidate for the surgery.
I am happy you are making something you can enjoy for the next few days.
Tis better to grab extra protein if ya gotta grab something...smile.
Hang tight momma!
Hugs!

Morning to you, my sweetie. I hope that this first day of yet a new week is great for you. Just think....it is yet a new week and this year is just ticking away...time goes to fast the older we get.

I have to get ready and go to Wal Mart in a few. I have just a few things to get...since it isn't pay day for a few days. Now if it was pay day already I could stay there for a while...but alas...not today. Oh well...such is life in the big city.

I am not going to church this morning. I just need to do a bit more resting than I have been. Last week when I went I had a bit of problems with the stomach and so I am not going to chance it today. I might give it a try next week but I will have to see.

Food went alright yesterday...I got three meals in...I know it is a bit of a shock but you need to pick yourself up off the floor! I know that you are shocked by that news...just as I was too. That hasn't happened in a long time. There wasn't a lot of food but hey..3 meals for a change!

B: sf oatmeal with a spot of ICBNB in it
L: honey dijon chicken from WW...it was an entree and not one of my favorites either...no more of that stuff
D: roast beef with a bit of cheese and peppers and onions
S: nothing

Bill is fishing with our nephew and his daughter. They go and sit in a boat and fish and fish and fish. Karissa goes and sits in the boat and just has fun. She sometimes fishes and other times she just sits and watches. She just turned 6 and loves her Uncle Bill...he is teaching her to swim in the pool after all. ha ha

I have no idea what the menu fairy has in store for tomorrow but I will do the best I can with the protein and the water. Yesterday was not good day with the water..I have to do better...I have no other choice.

Have a great day and know that I am sending love and hugs to you along with prayers being said for you and yours. Don't forget to spread the seeds of happiness and joy where you go today...in the end it will make a lot of people happy..including yourself!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Dear Brenda,I am so proud of you for getting so much food down! Your poor body needs it to heal.
Have you tried any of the flavors they have for water? They will induce you to drink more!
My hands hurt and I can not get more pain pills for about 5 days..ahhh well.
Enjoy your shopping and please rest!
Hugs!

Linda,

I'm experimented with oatmeal for breakfast this morning.  I've only been able to do liquids for breakfast for months (since my last fill).  I like my coffee protein shake but liquids do not stay in my pouch long enough to provide much satiety.  I did OK with the oatmeal - could eat about half of it - and now I feel uncomfortably full.

B: weight control banana bread oatmeal made w/ skim milk
S1: iced skinny latte
S2: strawberries
L: beef rib, mixed veggy salad
S: feta cheese & cucumbers
D: salmon patty, baba ganoush (eggplant dip)
S: frozen cherries

Hiya Jean, your tagline made me laugh,so much so that I changed mine. You have no idea how many PMs I get from people, thinking there is a secret to my weight loss! I say, after surgery,go home, and follow the directions you are given,no trickery there!
It is so easy to get full,it slips up on you!
I bet next time you will cut the amount,I HATE that feeling!
Take care!

Blueberries, cottage cheese, Kashi

Today is a family picnic/graduation party. There will be over 200 of us gathering together. No clue of what will be served so I'll pack a couple of cheese sticks and water. That will tide me over but I'm positive there will be tons of good choices.

This is the first family gathering since Mom died 4 years ago. I am looking forward to see my aunts, uncles, and cousins.
