What we are eating,and whats eating us,Sunday!
Hi back atcha darlin'! While I liked most of MJ's music, I wasn't crazy about the person he became, but that's a personal observation. He's not the only celeberity I liked when they started out who changed to someone I didn't didn't like, but still respected their work. Funny, when we got a puppy for our kids - a yellow lab/collie mix, we named him Jackson after Michael! Unfortunately he was not as talented as Michael. In fact, he turned out to be quite a dumb dog, lovable but dumb. I spoiled him as a pup - he thought he was a lap dog at 65 lbs. He found a way to sit on me with his belly on my lap, his front paws hanging over one leg and his back paws hanging over the other. If George sat on the picnic bench in the yard next to me, he'd push his head between us until George pushed over to allow him to sit next to or on his "Momma". This dumb dog probably told the burglar he allowed in the house where all the goodies were kept (some cash and a few pieces of jewerly).
On to food: Yesterday I did really good. We ate a Zea's before the game (BTW, Z's won in the bottom of the 9th 3/2!!!) I ordered bbq ribs with collards and roasted corn grits. I have half the ribs and 3/4 of each of the sides leftover.
Today is a different story. I started out with two protein shakes and it's been downhill since.
B - protein shake
S - protein shake
L - boiled shrimp luncheon after church with our "Old Folks" group, dessert was tiny 1 inch squares of cheesecake. I ate 3. Damn cheesecake, my weakness.
S - probably some ham and cheese or a protein shake since it's so hot and I'm so thirsty
D - catfish and salad
S - figs and cottage cheese or yogurt
Plenty water and WalMart's answer to Crystal Light tea

Deb,your menu looks good and your weekend sounds good.
I don't know about MJ,the one time he went to trial he was found not guilty,and the another set of parents took him to civil court.
I do know child abuse is ilegal,and I thought the state can charge you for that,parents excluded.
It puzzles me how people kept sending their kids!
As a Black American,he brought alot of firsts for me,including the first Black video played on MTV,it was Thriller...smile.
Anyways...he is with his God now and they will sort it out,hugs back at ya!
