what do you do, when do you do it, and how often?
Hi Jeannie....my favorite exercise is power walking. Before I fell and broke my hip was out walking 3 miles every morning M-F.....I sure am missing that now!!
I love swimming too but don't seem to get that done very often anymore....I need to check into a gym in the Fall when I can't walk outside anymore.
My future SIL says he is going to buy me a bike...that would be great too!! (if I don't fall and break the other hip!)

Connie, I love riding my bike. It's not an easy feat for me, but I love doing it. I want to get a new bike but am making sure that I will continue doing this. I also like to power walk and will take off and walk for as long as I can, which is a pretty darn long time. I am also now doing hiking with a group of women friends and we are having a blast. Sometimes I forget that I am not in my twenties and we head out and I will try and do whatever they are doing. LOL. It's great to have these options that I didn't have years ago.
One good thing, with all you walking, your hip should heal quickly. Make sure you get some juice in. Vit C promotes healing.
