What we are eating, and whats eating us,Monday...
Yesterday, I opted to make two T-Bones for hubby and me instead of the minute steaks. I marinated them in some white wine because we were out of red wine and in Arkansas you cannot buy wine on Sundays. So, much to my surprise, the marinate was good and the steaks were tender and delicious. I ate about five ounces and a about a tablespoon of mashed potatoes and brown sauce. That was for lunch and dinner, I was still full and ate only a toast.
Today's menu:
B: the dry toast sits well. So toast with a little cottage cheese
S: no snack, too busy today.
L: Chicken soup
S: cheese stick if I remember to stop and buy them
D: More chicken soup
S: I'm going to be up late tonight, so I'm going to drink a protein shake.

I ENJOY you,I think you ROCK!!
I also know it is a ***** not to feel well,(yes,I said *****but I have been grown a looong time),LOL!!!
I am happy I am coming to know you and I look for your post everyday.
There is another post I responded to,and I will not go back in there, you know why???
I do not need to be upset,I need smiles, hope, people who are striving to be better.
There is a little quote I love,"If you are looking for perfection,do not look in the mirror".
I needed to say that, and one more thing.
If I ever come to visit you,I am ripping off your closets!
I am so happy I did not miss this chance to know you.
I'm telling you, with my taste for shoes and bags, well, let me tell you, we would have a good time. I love shoes. In fact, I know this sounds so bad, but I bought a cute little pair of sandles the other day and hubby was a little miffed when he found out, so, this evening my friends and I met for a drink at the local pub and afterwards we headed off to, you got it, the mall and I bought a pair of gold sandles that are to freaking die for. I also got an ankle bracelet to wear with these to die for sandles. I'm telling you, a gal can never have too many shoes or too many friends. I think we should just let sleeping dogs lie when it comes to those things that upset us. I'm one of those people who likes fresh and to start fresh. I enjoy this thread too. I look for it every day to read what others are doing and to post what I'm doing. I think being accountable is what keeps up honest. LOL. Glad you are feeling better.
You know, I'm taking dance lessons and am trying to learn how to belly dance but I tell you it is kicking my butt. You don't realize how much of your knees you need to make your hips move. My poor old knees are saying yikes. Now the ball room, I can do and my gay friend and I kick ass. Of course he is a giant man so it is fun to be ushered all over the floor. I even have a pair of tango shoes. Now that is a sight to see. LOL. You need to come dancing with us.

The shoes sound awesome and you sooooo deserve them.
My daughter Olivia does belly dancing, she is built like a...well you get the picture. She too loves ankle bracelets and sexy shoes,a 2 inch heel puts her to 6 feet 1 !!!
Now,for a pathetic picture, her trying to teach me to belly dance. I bought all the clothing, mostly from far away, from Egypt, etc. I am project oriented,so I jumped in with both feet.
Girl!! I can barely walk, and that basic knee, shoulder, belly crap liked to have killed my arse!!!
So.....now Olivia has more belly dancing outfits and zills (the little bell thingys).
I LOVE ballroom dancing, and square dancing, not popular with my people per say,but half my family is from the Carolina's and ain't no shame to my game!
I like very little rap, actually Will Smith and Kanye West is my limit.
I do not want my music to cuss me out!!
Maybe we will dance together one never knows.
Oh,and that moving on thing, putting the past behind us,it's called intelligence.
Some of my best friends were one's I had a fight with first...hmmm..go figure!
The thing with belly dancing is that the entire movement is with the knees. Yeah, it's very painful and I am not a gracefully belly dancer. I mostly do it for the fun.
My gay friend and I have so much fun together. I am the envy of all the women at the dance studio.
My daughter is really tall too. She is 5'11" flat footed, and she is her mother's daughter with the shoes. She, too, wears the two inch and more heels. I remember before wls, my daughter and I went to this little jewlery place and I wanted a bracelet so badly and all they had were the seven inch ones. But, my daughter found this gorgeous ankle bracelet and she bought it and when we got home, she said, here, you can use this for a bracelet. No one could tell that I was wearing an ankle bracelet on my dang wrist. LOL. I love ankle bracelets and toe rings. My daughter and daughter in law have very large feet and say they are jealous of my tiny feet and toes. LOL.
I like rap, but I have to take it small doses. I'm like you, I don't want my music too rough. Now, give me the Manhattens or Smokey and I'm happy as a lark.
I should try square dancing. It looks fun.

I told her I feel like something is on my foot!! She has fake nose rings,I am happy they are fake!!
I hope when this darn knee is fixed I will be able to dance more, but I do dance a little everyday (after I take my pain pills)!
Ya know what?? I never considered it a exercise, but it is!!
It is sooooo much fun,now I can add this to my little exercise list.
Take care,I am off to the kitchen!
