I don't think anyone has me blocked, so here goes.

I came to this board for it's lack of drama.  If I want drama, I can watch tv.

For the most part, I have noticed people on this board settle their differences pretty nicely.

Recently there was some discussion about blocking people.  Remember people, if you have anyone  blocked, they can not see your thread AT ALL.  Not what you write, not what anyone writes. 

Just for example.  Say Brenda has me blocked.  Brenda starts the daily thread, and say Margo has something going on in her life and talks about it.  Because Brenda has me blocked, I will never see the thread and not know what Margo is sharing with EVERYONE.  Or maybe Janet has some great cost saving thing that she found and posts it in her post on the thread.  Because Brenda started the thread, I would never have the benefit of learning what Janet is sharing.

The names above are purely examples.  I have no problems with any of those mentioned, nor with anyone else on this board.

So, please.  If you block anyone, it is your choice.  But please be kind enough to let someone else start the threads we share with everyone.   And, if you want do want to start the threads, unblock everyone on this board.  Just ignore the posts of the person(s) offending you.

Please. Can't we just get along?

To be honest,I have no one blocked,but I do understand if people who get offended and vexed,they can use the button,that is why OH put it there..
I have found I can just skip reading people I do not like,which are very very few,actually only one.

Thanks George!  I didn't know that about blocking on this board.  Not that I block people.  It works differently on other boards.

Thanks for the explanation of how blocking really effects everyone. I have blocked a few people in the past but it's been those who come from another forum seamingly to cause trouble. Or someone who's posts are always so negative. From your explanation, I'd be ignoring the thread when they start one so I'll be missing whatever was contributed to the thread by others anyway. I'll just continue to avoid their posts but I won't block anyone anymore.

 I don't have anyone blocked & hope no one has me blocked either, but, I would
for sure never block you as you have never offended me in what I have read from
you & enjoy your stuf all the time. I came to this board for the comraderie as a couple
of my other boards got fizzled out & very bored. this one is not.
I don't always post as my mind is not actually in a very cheerful mindset of late, which
BTW, I am trying to change & improve.

Oh well, would not be the first time. I know some of what happened a little while ago,
