OT: Shooting the breeze. . .

I had the pleasure of spending an all too quick hour with Julia and her husband this afternoon. Such fun always to meet one of "us" in person. I always feel like I'm meeting an old friend. She's as delightful in person as on line. They stopped and visited with Millie a couple of hours before we got to meet. And. . . then they were on their way.

 Yes......  it was tooooooo short of a visit.

Had we the good sense to plan.... Mom and I could have driven down to Chehalis so we all could have visited.  Sheeesshhh.    Next time?

Is Chehalis a very big town? is there like a general store type thing there?

I'd call it a small town. About halfway between Portland and Seattle. Centralia is just a few miles away. Most of the downtown area is now antique stores. Oh I wonder if you might be thinking of "Sunbirds"? That's my husband's favorite store. A little bit of everything, known for miles around. . .

The stores name had Chehalis in the name, it was like a general store type thing, back in 2002/2003 we had a gift store and imported from Australia, they use to buy our Australian Bean Bag Mates. Similar to the Ty Beanie babies......

I guess I'm not familiar with it or it is no longer here. Yardbirds is huge and sells all kinds of ranch and western wear along with plants, fishing, hunting, canning stuff, clothing, boots, shoes, fertilizer, paint, etc.

now that my  curiosty is up I'll have to go thru old records and see if I can find the name...lol

Yep first time. Julia shares that gorgeous Dorothy from Texas hair! I'm so jealous of it!

 Yes,  first time for me.....   she's the only one I've met from OFF     I'm sure there will be more.
