linda is soooooooooooo right george--YOU did not start this issue- and your post was meant as an olive branch--and it wasn't even your post that started this discussion a week or so ago--
and you are both right that it needs to stop...i don't know how many more ways this blocking thing can be explained for ppl to understand that it hurts others as well if they start the food or what's new threads...
we all have folks we maybe don't care for in life- we need to be able to act like adults tho and co exist on a board like this--

a week or so ago; we as a board discussed this topic of starting the what's new and the what you are eating threads if you have ppl blocked- we discussed it for days.-many ppl were in on the discussions....you must not have read any of it.
the blocking feature, i think is baloney -however, i agree with your right to not want to read what some write--what you don't seem to understand is that if you started the thread like you did yesterday-those who you have blocked can't read what anyone wrote.
yes; they can log out to read but that is kinda stupid in my opinion--just my opinion...no one should have to log out to read to see what they are missing...justjane comments today that she often doesn't log in--her choice..and i am not going to argue with her--
i disagree with sandy (senid) --the two gals you are speaking of have NOTHING to gain by running you or anyone else off...but- ya know what ? that is sandy's opinion....again i am not going to argue with her....
susan..sorry you feel that you need to back off- we all do it at times --and yes; you have supported others (specifically me!) when folks have been nasty--on this particular topic-this starting threads when you have ppl blocked- is a real sore subject with me so i cannot give you the support that you probly feel you deserve....the two gals in particular who you are talking about are really working at playing nicely in the sandbox-cuz ya know what?? they have feelings and they both have a wealth of knowledge ( about ppl/ life and post wls) and they belong here --more than you do maybe due to longevity and because they have tried to offer support ...sorry- that's also my opinion--and you will notice that i have been around a long time- maybe too long--..this is not MY board or YOUR board or THEIR board--it is public and anyone can read it and many do whom we don't ever see.....
i should add--probly the mean spirited stuff will rear it's ugly head again--i hope not--but --when kids play together sometimes they say things they shouldn't!!!!
