Hello sweet Susan,I post my food from the day after,as it works for me. It is what works, whatever floats your boat.
We are becoming oldtimers now...LOL.
This thread keeps me honest,I love giving my food away.
I hope you enjoyed your ice cream,my NUT says fear of food gives it too much power. The truth for me is  I no longer desire sweets,I am blessed with that one. I may over dose on oranges..LOL.
My Nut always disallowed fruit they are so high in carbs, good carbs, but way too much, She told me to eat the fruit for the benefit of the fiber and fullness,it makes my body sing in the bathroom,if ya know what I mean.
I think WLS helps us to avoid the stinking thinking mentality that say I ate this, now I have to eat the whole box and start over again tomorrow.good Lord, how often did I do that??
Take care,sweet lady.

Today I am meeting one of professors.  He and I are working on a project together and he and I are also doing a class together. We meet off campus.  It's a long walk from my office to our meeting place, but I am doing the walk.  So, my eating day will end with a big something. LOL.
B: Cream of Wheat
S: no snack
L: soup
S: boiled egg.
D: probably a hamburger patty

Yesterday evening, I ate a ton of water melon and when I say a ton, that is what it seemed like.  Every bite I too****pt thinking damn this is good. Wow, this is juicy.  Loved it.  Maybe I'll have more of that this evening, if hubby doesn't eat it all.  Arkansas is the water melon capital of the world and ours our getting ripe on the vine and will be ready for consumption any freaking day.  I'm as eager for watermelon as I am fresh tomatoes.
Hope you all have a happy eating day.

Damn it,just zinged that reply into cyber space!! Sounds like you have a great high energy day planned.
I enjoy watermelon now and again. It is high carb, but good carbs and fiber.
Isn't it great we do not have to worry about that stuff  anymore?? For one thing,we can only eat so much of it.
It is one of the "smush foods",the foods we can eat more of.
Have a good one sweetie.

Cheryl, what is the granola bars that you talking about? Can you share the recipe with me please? Thanks so much.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hi Brenda,

Sure you may have the recipe...

Sometimes they set up better than other times, not sure why.

In a bowl ( a big one)

Mix together
3C rice krispies
3C old fashioned oat meal
1C raisins
1/2 C raw sunflower seeds
1/2 C raw pumpkin seeds
1/2 C chopped pecans
1/2 C chopped walnuts

In a small sauce pan

Heat to boil on medium heat and let boil for at least 4 minutes

1 C of Karo Syrup (you can use the one with less sugar but it won't set up well)
2 T honey
and if I have it I add 2T splenda brown sugar (you can use regular too)

Then after it has cooked long enough I pour into the bowl of nuts and stuff and stir and mix then put in a lightly oiled (with olive oil) sheet cake pan.

I press it down using wax paper on top with my hands, then use a sturdy juice glass to roll it and squi**** and squi**** I let it sit for a while with the wax paper on top.

I divide into 18 bars, wrap them in plastic or put them in those snack size baggies and pop em in the freezer.

For those who dump on sugar, my sis was able to eat these with the low sugar Karo and she is a very sensitive dumper

They are  200 calories and lots of protein, I can't remember. I put the recipe in one of those calculator things and that's what it said.

While they are technically "healthy" they do have the sugar and other carbs

I LOVE them!

Be Careful!!!!!! They are addicting.
