It's Wednesday, my week is almost over. WHAT'S NEW WITH YOU?

Good morning all.  Another great day in the neighborhood.

Let me know if you can't see this.

Had an interesting discussion with my spouse last night.  I think I got my point across.  She had done me some big favors.  Took the car to get my XM fixed, stopped to get a printout of our check engine light, then went to mechanic to make arrangements to bring the car in.  Then she asked "Now what are you gonna do for me?"  I told her nothing now because she spoiled it.  If I do something now, it will look like I did it just because she asked.  Fortunately, I had done something for her before that she did not know about.  I ordered $100 worth of stuff from Avon for her.  She likes their clothes.  I got her a couple of blouses, a pair of sandals, three ankle bracelets.  I also had already decided earlier today I was going to get her flowers on my way home.  I guess I still will any way.

She understands where I am coming from.

Did I babble too much on a personal matter?  Sorry.

They are checking Oleta's mother for lung cancer today.

Brad got word today that he did indeed make his bonus in his first month with the company.  They love him.

Enough about me and my clan, what's new with you?

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

morning!

george i can read it but it's a lil lite...

ok i don't really wanna sound stupid but- a printout on the check engine lite?

how much more can oleta's mom take? prayers continue.....for all.....

i hit the snooze the wrong way and the alarm turned off but the cat woke me!!! so- i have had some breakfast and will need to get showered and dressed soon..another morning of going in a bit early...then i have a dr appt after work...

so- yesterday michael took the car to go get two loads of free river rock for his yard art in the front yard--on his way to pick up the second load he had to duck--becuz a ( male mallard ) duck flew into the passenger rearview mirror-cracked the housing and broke the glass...of course, the poor duck died instantly....i cannot believe the things that have happened to my poor car in less than 2 years....thank goodness michael was not hurt and the windshield was not broken-i missed the mirror already when i was backing out of a parking space at wally's after work but the poor duck!!!!  btw- there is still at least one more load of the rocks that he will need to get next week....and it look snice in his project!!!

last nite i started packing to go to nan's--i have two big tote bags full of plates/cups/napkins/"silverware" to share the expense....and i found my jammies and my bathing suit (remember i have no dresser anymore!)...won't take too long to pack the rest tonite and in the morning--

today at work i am taking a picture of my co worker's hair--i want to show my hairdresser the look i am hoping to eventually achieve once my hair grows back out --and have her touch up the bottom back--she'll need her thinning scissors....

well...nothing really worth talking about so ...

hugs and prayers..special thoughts for our very special pat r today with her hip surgery!!!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

My comment on if you can see this was a weak attempt at humor for the incidents earlier this week.

Printout on check engine light - When your check engine light comes on, they have to put it on a computer to find out the problem.

i had an 83 chevy station wagon whose check engine light was on for years!!we got so used to it that  when we got it fixed it was like driving nekkid--with no "nite lite" !!!!

Hey Margo,
Hint Hint!!!!!!! LOL Of course I have my hair stuff with me. It is in the car.
Anyway today I am going to play tourist and go downtown on the train. Tonight we are going to a concert in Grant Park....It will be cold only 57 tonight with a high of 65 today......I am glad I brought my winter coat......
yesterday we took my sister in law out for lunch and a little shopping. I am looking for a sexy black dress to wear to my high school reunion on July 11th.
Last night Carl finally met my great nephew. He was so cute.......
So off for my cold day.....

George,

Smile - you two have a good relationship. It's the ups and downs, give and take that makes a marriage strong. She will appreciate the flowers because they came from YOU.

One more wee****il I see the surgeon. Something is way out of whack.  Last night I discovered numb spots on the tummy. Thinking I just was nuts, I asked Tom to pinch one of the spots - hard. Waited, and said just pinch. He said I AM. Nothing, no feeling at all.

This is just plain weird. It feels like two tube socks under the left rib cage and now numbness on the surface. I feel like such a whiner.

So I'll give you the same advice that you gave me!  Don't fret; find out what the problem is, and then take care of yourself and heal!  (and yes, I'm a #1 worrier as well!)
Feel better soon.
