It's Wednesday, my week is almost over. WHAT'S NEW WITH YOU?
Yours is probably something different and have it checked to ease your mind.
...and when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly...on a broomstick.
We are flexible.

You are NOT a whiner....my goodness, you are the opposite of a whiner, but when will you and your body get a break?
I too have numb spots around my rib cage and across my back since the surgery, but it's not new. Sounds like your numb spots are a new thing?
I hope the surgeon figures out what the H is going on!
Take Care,
Cheryl

I hope that you call your surgeon and let them know about the numbness. I would venture to say that it is something with nerves...but I am not a doctor or a nurse for that matter either. Just a guess. I know that I have numbness in my stomach from the surgery..and that is from the nerves being cut and now are healing. I have a lot of numbness in the top of my legs and my sides but that is from the back problem and it just is what it is. So please make sure that you let someone know about this new development please. And do it today if you can.
Sending love and hugs to you, little big sis......
I did talk to my PCP and the bariatric PA about the sore spot ... both said they felt it was probably just scar tissue from the hernia and/or RNY (because it's very close to the end of that area) and nothing to be concerned about.
Whew, no hernia ... I've already dealt with that one pre-op and don't want another.
A long day at work again today, then working tomorrow on my day off, then another long day Friday. Thank goodness I'm off on Saturday. No plans for the long weekend, maybe some Saint Bella, but we'll wait and see.
I've already made a 1/2 gallon of salsa this morning. One of my clients is taking it to her daughter's house for a weekend gathering, so I offered to fix her up. I worked too late last night to feel like doing it, so no choice but to do it at 6:00. Oh well, a promise is a promise!
That's it. Nothing else going on here. Sigh.
Hope you all have a great day. Take care of yourselves and each other!!!
Susan
Did you ever hear my funny story about making salsa?
I was making salsa back when I lived in South Dakota. I was using rubber gloves to cut up the jalapeno peppers and after finishing, took off the gloves and went to the bathroom to pee. Well, you get the picture.
A few minutes after I was done in the bathroom, I felt this burning sensation down under. I had to go back to the toilet to rub it ... still burning. I had to take a shower, wash really well, still not gone ... take a second shower ... still burning. After the third shower, it was back to normal and the salsa was done on the stove.
And that was with wearing the rubber gloves ... so always remember when cutting hot peppers, wear the gloves, wash your hands thoroughly (I thought I did!) before you touch down under.

My mouse died. I have a laptop and have always used one of those wireless mouses because I don't like using the touch pad. Anyway, it died and not even a new battery will make it work, so I am having to touch and that is not good.
George, my hubby and I are like that: If I do something for him that is what henormally does, then I expect payback. His paybacks are so few and far between because to be honest, I do everything around here and even those chores that are typically done by the male are usually done by me. He is so weak most of the time. sigh.
Today, it's teaching my little crickets to dance. Well, no dancing, but writing. And, I am coming home and making beans. Next week, I am leaving for a seminar training at Temple university and will fly home, teach one class, and fly back out the next day to go to a conference in, I think, Mineappolis Minnesota. I cannot remember if that is where it is.
So, I may be on for a few more days and be too busy to post.
