It's Wednesday, my week is almost over. WHAT'S NEW WITH YOU?
the saga continues with my mom and her legal stuff. Court was postponed until Aug 18 now. Her attorney was a no show and some other guy was a fill in. The fill in said he wasn't going to do my mom's case with her attorney there and the judge got mad. They are so tired of seeing her with one of us there each time. Judge just wants to get it over with.
I have to go early today as I have an 8 am appt with sheriffs office to get my fingerprints re-done. My were rejected by the FBI. They will not charge again for the service as it was their fault. At least the FBI didn't reject me.
Got mail from IRS my 2006 taxes are being audited. I have no clue were they are since my move, I hav no clue what are as ex did them all the time. They want receipts for vehiicle use from the business. Great.....maybe I'm looking at incareration....there's my opportunity for a break from mom.

Oh geeze, that's just all you need. For pete's sake...soon things have just got to turn around for you, Darlene. I hope you can find the records you need for the IRS.

She is an elderly lady and of course family will be with her...we are standing next to you too.....so nanny boo boo to that judge...

Of course you would! Good Heavens! I sure wouldn't want them getting together about me or one of my family members without someone from my family there too. You have to be your own advocate because even though your attorney is suppose to be...well, they aren't always...no offense to the attorneys out there...just my experience...

Darlene, I hope that you find the documents that you need for the audit. Just take a deep breath and remember to keep breathing. I know that it seems like the whole world is coming down on you right now..but in time it will get better...it certainly has to since it can't get much worse.
Of course you are going to be there for your mom. She is an elderly woman and can't go through this stuff without her family. So the way I look at it is ....it he is sad then he is just going to have to get glad. That is what my parents always told me when I was a kid. He had better grow up and know that not everything is not going to be the way that HE wants it to be. Such is life and he better adjust.

Last day of work till next Tuesday! Whoo hoo!
Well, thanks to Jeannie, I got my Ipod out and used it at work, but man! was it hard not to sing along....you know how awful it sounds when someone sings along to the i-pod songs that no one else can hear the music to, right? Anyway , I took it in the car and sang and sang and sang. After I got home, I kept it on. Tom was out on the porch, (a-hem....sitting in my favorite porch seat)....writing his candidacy paper...so I decided to go pick some cherries out in the yard and had my i-pod, I was up on the ladder singing and singing and all of a sudden, there is his face looking up at me, "Sweetie, what's cha singing?" He has a big grin. I guess I was singing a little loud and he was wondering which songs I was listening to...tells you how good I sound...So I enjoyed very much my i-pod, tunes from the movie Juno, The Frey, Dixie Chicks, Shedaisy, Mozart, Alanis Morissette, Chris Daughtry,Diamond Rio, Bonnie Raitt, and lots more....So THANKS, JEANNIE!
It made me relay Happy! I am however a duck at getting my music on the i-pod and worked all evening on getting some of the CDs Tom made me on but never did accomplish that...will try again on my VACATION!
I hear we will be into the 90s for the next few days...it is amazing that I am not dying in the heat. I used to be soooooo miserable in the summer, now I am thrilled when it's hot out!

I had my iPod on as I did the big walk around campus today and I was listening to Janice Joplin. I know that there were times when I was singing along. LOL. I also dance in the elevator; if noone else is in with me. At least once a day, I go up the seven flights of stairs and use the iPod to keep me focused.
I'm so happy you are using and enjoying using your iPod. If you were close enough, you could come join my friends and me for our download parties.
If I was close, you bet I would, (do you serve watermelon and beans, ham and cornbread?)those download parties sound good, I ask my husband to help me but the only time we don't get along well is when I ask for help on the computer or the i-pod. He just wants to go bing bing bing and I can't see what his done and I want to know HOW to do it. Then he accidentally gets rid of something I wanted and blah, blah on it goes. So usually, I don't ask for help from him in that area...or I prepare myself and just let him do his thing...

George sorry to hear Oleta has to go thru more testing...that poor woman. I pray it isn't cancer!!
Darlene....if you end up in jail...I will come and break you out!! Good luck with all you are dealing with right now. It sure seems to be piling up. I hope you get the info requested and everything is just fine.
Pat R....thoughts and prayers are with you for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. Hugs!!!!!

I am doing okay...really bored with this hanging out at home situation. I am not good at this. I like to keep moving....always on the go. I know I will get through it but it sure is getting me down.

I to am going back to Nans. it is a almost 6 hr drive up there. but Ill stop along the way and do some stuff.
Like going to my home town and look around again.
I know some people along the way so ill probably stop and see them.
