I am talking to Pat right now...
I am talking to Pat right now and she is doing well. She was in surgery for an hour and half and in the recovery room for.....get this one....8 minutes before she woke up. They kept her in recovery for an hour then took her to her room. She is getting up later to go potty and then tomorrow she is getting up. They are staying ahead of the pain and is on oral meds instead of shots or drips. She has had jello and salty chicken broth and what I think was sorbet. She is doing good and thanks everyone for their prayers. If things go like they are so far she should be going home Friday.

Aloha dear heart.......GREAT NEWS!! Wow, I can't believe that type of surgery only took an hour and a half....that's amazing. She must be doing beautifully if she was whisked out of the recovery room after 8 minutes and is on oral meds already.

thank you for the heads' up!!! sounds like it will be a good recovery for her!!!! i addressed a card as i typed my post earlier and it goes out in tomorrow's mail...
