TWO YEARS

Two years ago . . . I was so scared . . . so excited . . . so scared . . . so ready to be healthy . . . so scared!
What a ride this has been.  I am very happy to say that 125# have been gone now for over a year.  I won't say lost . . . because then I might find it - so I just say gone!!!
Size 6 & 8 is where I have settled.  My knees and feet don't hurt!
I am soooo thankful that I found bariatric surgery and a wonderful program!
Thank you for all the information that is posted on this web site every day.  I don't post often, but try to read and catch up a couple of times a week.  Thank you for the knowledge that all of you share.
Two years!   Whoohooo!!!

Randa,

Congrats on your journey thusfar, I know just how you are feeling as I edge closer to that 2 year mark, it has been an incredible journey and my life today is beyond anything I could have hoped for and the people I have met along the way, via OFF and the PA forum are just unbelievable!

I'm jumping up and down right with you!

Life is so different now after surgery.  To be able to do things again... touch toes, tie shoes, walk farther, etc   haa haa  Who would have thought life could be so good.

Wow, Randa!  Thanks for posting.  I'm so happy to hear that.  My feet and knees are horribly painful.  I am so excited.  I have lots more to lose than you did, but just to reduce the pain so I could move would be a miracle.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

That is terrific, Randa!   Keep up the good work!

6-8 seems so little to me!  If I can just get into a 12-14 I will  be happy.

Aloha Randa ..... and a hearty congratulations to you for a job well done!!

As I come up on three years (the 26th) I, too, feel such gratitude for the wheels of good fortune led me into having this life saving surgery, and for all that losing half of myself has given back to me.

Thank you so much for coming in and sharing your joy........it hits deeply for so many of us and makes us appreciate all over again how lucky we really are.

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen
