I met two Offers!

I just wanted to quickly say that I met Millie and Karen and they are both wonderful people! We met just off of I-5 at two restaurants - I had about an hour with each woman and it was so great to meet them and feel so close to them- from now on I will be knowing that we are "new best friends" (thank you Millie!). I posted three pictures of us on my OFF page. Take a look!

Aloha Julia.....How wonderful that you had the opportunity to meet both Karen and Millie. The pictures are wonderful...and you ARE BEAUTIFUL!!

So far, Karen C has been the only OFFer I have had the privilege of meeting....TWICE! She is our resident "jet setter" who loves to travel and gives someone like me, in the middle of the ocean, the opportunity to get to know her in person.

Thank you for sharing the pictures......makes it feel like real family.

 FUN   FUN   FUN  ..........  It was sooooo nice to meet "my new best friend".  One hour was NOT long enough but for the first time it was good.   Julia hails from the same town as two of my DILs....  I had lived in the area for a couple of years also.  What fun to chat about an area we both were familiar with.

AND of course we discussed our surgeries and the fun information we have learned from all the other "friends" here on OFF......   

Thanks Julia for taking the time to stop and visit....  not always easy to do when traveling.

Home safe and sound. . . or somewhere on the Oregon Coast? Probably not. I'm sure you were ready to be home after the whirlwind trip you just made. It was wonderful meeting you in person. Too bad Millie and I couldn't have been there at the same time. Tho, given how I love to talk, you might never have gotten away from the two of us. I've promised Millie that we will meet up soon. I'm over at my daughter's every 3 or 4 weeks and Millie is just an hour north of there. I'll be back in the area the last week of July so we'll try for then. Julia, again, it's so nice to have an "animated" face to go along with the picture and posts. Have a wonderful rest of your summer. It will go all too fast.

I am fortunate being a member of the Texas Message Board.  I have met more people than I really care to from the TMB.  We have lots of get togethers.  I have actually angelled 3 people that I met on OH.  That was fun.  Still very good friends with one of them, still hear from the others.

Glad you had the chance to meet the folks.  It had to be a blast.  One of the girls on the TMB says her mother refers to the people on OH as her daughters friends in the box.

Someone on the main board was looking for this board so I found it for them.  I saw your post and I have to ask a dumb question.... can you tell me what an Offer is?  I'm 54 so I should visit more often.  I see George is in the thread too and he's a very good friend of mine.
