Annette,

Can we just call you "Sparkles" now? I can totally see you as a "Sparkles." You are too cute and funny, little woman.

Cheryl,

The black cats look 'special' with glimmers of gold. My hubby will probably get some comments at work because I doubt if all the glitter showered off.

I can't do anything scneted, but the sparkly thing....... what is it? comes in unscented? LOL

Being a redhead, all the tanner on earth will never make me looks tan, but the sparkly lotion (the one I found was just "softsoap" brand I think? Cheap. That kinda makes me look more "toned" or sumpin

It only came scented. If I were younger I'd dye my hair every color of the rainbow, glitter my eyes and hair too.

Sometimes I'm a redhead too.Flirty Wink

A pedicure got rid of years of callus. I was a life long barefooter, then......i got heavier, and my weight kinda squished me into the gravel around my house. Then, I lost the wt and got older, so feet are bony. Bird claws.

Pedicure did the first part safely (and feels good--wish I'd known of this while full sized!). At your local drug store..... Walgreens? Maybe Wal Mart? There is a callus remover. Might be Sally Hansen or Dr. Scholl or even store brand. All the ones I've had have white handles. Squwinkle your eyes and see sorta roughly popsicle size, shape. Thicker handle. My derma told me to use it IN the shower. At first I only found "sand paper on a handle", but then found these that are more like a rasp.

I can't always find my faave kind. It has rough on one side, finer particles on the other. Um, rasp? cheese grater, but smaller! The one I can find everywhere has rasp on one side and fine sand paper on the other.

I just do a quick *scrub-scrub-scrub" on each problem area (heels) with every shower. 3 seconds each! And then drown the suckers in lotion, much as you do.

I thought I could travel without all that and went 2 weeks without and sure enough, heels cracked. One you get fissures, not like they go away. I found some stuff called "Cracked Heels" that helped heal it up. As long as I do my lil sanding thing, haven't needed it. Every now and then I treat my feet to it anyway.

About once/wk, I go over my feet more carefully with this tool.

Seriously, about $3 and I can stretch the pedicures way out, haven't had a fissure in 5 yrs now. I got smarter.

When I do have a pedi, they don't have to scrape at all. Cool.

Before wls, I had fissures that were so painful.  What I did then was used the hoof lotion that use on horses.  Now, of course, I can use more feminine products.  I have used the rough sandpaper like thing with the grater like thing on the other side and it works well but I got addicted to the pediegg thing.  Because I am so careful with my feet, I don't get the callouses but do still have to watch for dry feet.

I love getting a pedi but am so ticklish that I end up fighting giggles the entire time. I think, when I get back from all my travels and before school starts in the fall, I will treat myself to a spa day.

Yes! The rasp on a handle thing is like a ped egg, but even the more porous side is smoother than that. I got a ped egg, but as long as I do this with each shower, I haven't used it. If I start skipping showers, callus-land here I come! Most of my showers are run in, shave with one hand, rasp with the other, in/out, run. LOL

Only once/week do I use all the magical potions n lotions in my shower. Drives my husbands nuts. "Do you really need 8 shampoos?" Well, OF COURSE I DO! They all do different things. Men are so silly!

Yeah...my hubby hates watching me pack because I have to decide what I really really need in the lotion/shampoos/conditioner department and shoes ect. Men are good with a razor and underwear. LOL

I plan for this trip the whole year. I ask Don if he's ready and he says, "Why? Only takes me 10 min to pack." Grrrr. Sure, because *I* pack all the necessaities in "my" stuff.

"Got scissors?" course. "dont' have tape, do ya?" course. and that's in the hotel luggage. Rv is like a mini "at home". LOL
