Thursday, named after the dude who carried a hammer all the time. Today I will have a good day,I am going for a massage,it's better than chocolate!
In the last 24 hours, I had...
B- Cheese, ham, green peppered, and Bermuda onion buritto on a whole wheat, low carb tortilla, with picante sauce,I found some low sodium ham.
L-Cottage Cheese and peaches.
D-Stir fried Chinese style veggies with diced chicken breast,3 Tablespoons of wild rice.
S- Banana s/f pudding, with sliced bananas in it.
All and all,it was a good day. I think we are all strong people,do you know that compulsive people have higher IQ's,tend to be more talented, and my personal favorite...are perfectionist. I just no one is like that around here...
Today,in the honor of Thor,I shall carry a mental hammer and hammer out all negativity,if things get tough,I shall get the real one, hehehe.

Well Linda, I have to say about the hammer is......If I had a hammer I'd hammer in the morning, I'd hammer in the evening all over this land. I loved Peter, Paul and Mary...they were so good.

Food went so much better yesterday. I was stuffed most of the day but I got some food down. ha ha  With each bite all I could think of was "Linda is going to be happy" and so I hope you are. I did tell the nurse yesterday that I am more effort to work on the protein and fruit.

B: 2 slices deli turkey with cheese and cherries
L: hamburger with steamed veggies
D: 1 slice deli turkey with blueberries
S: nothing

My nurse told me I need the fruit for the healing so between those 2 I seem to concentrating the most. So far so good. Now I have to work on the water too...that is not going so well. I have always had a problem getting all the water and the food in. So I was told to drink up to 5 minutes before eating and that would give me almost 1 and a half hours more to eat and drink. I do have to keep to the half hour after before drinking. That does seem to help...but still problems..especially now.

Bill is working days and I go to the doctor this afternoon. Just a long story and my nurse wasn't overly happy yesterday either. What a stinking mess. Doctor and I are going to have a little talk today.

I am sending love and hugs to you along with prayers for you and yours being said. Have a great day and spread the happiness and joy that is in your life to others around you.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

I loved Peter, Paul & Mary too, but now that song won't get out of my head!

LOL! Sorry about that Jean.My situation is worse than yours. My son loved MC Hammer, the guy who wore the harem pants and sang "Can't touch This"....and "Hammer Time".
So I have visions of this guy dancing across the stage...and singing "Hammer Time". I took my son to a concert of his, eons ago!
Huggers!

Here's the deal with the hammer:  I cannot hammer.  I cannot ever hit the nail because as soon as the hammer gets close to the nail, I drop the nail and move my fingers.  I use a lot of thumbtacs. LOL

Last night, I was up late grading my students first attempts at writing an essay and hubby came home starved so I heated him up some beans and cornbread and decided to make me some pancakes.  I cannot eat regular flour pancakes, so I ground up oatmeal into flour and add some whole wheat and just a little bit of white flour for the gluten. Then I add the other ingredients that go into pancakes and drop in about a cup of unground oatmeal and then griddle them up.  They are like having a pancake cookie. LOL.  So, I made them and put them in baggie for today.

B: One oatmeal cookie pancake

S: apple and cheese

L: Beans and cornbread

S: cheese slices and turkey ham

D: oysters.

Yesterday, I didn't feel well.  Today, I'm hungry. LOL.

Jeannie! You are such a character. If there is a male around,he is assigned official hammering, grand is getting experience in it too.
Olivia has become quite proficient over the years. I have the high beamed ceilings that require a ladder for bulb changing, they are still holding.
I will not be able to change them for sure!

You know, girls today just are able to do more than us more mature gals.  I remember when I was young, I would have never attempted to paint my house or change a flat or even jump a battery.  Once, my I left my lights on and my battery wouldn't work, and my daughter just put those cables on and jumped my car and knew exactly what to do.  And, she will paint or do whatever she can do around the house.  I even have her hang my pictures because she is so tall and apt.  We are lucky, aren't we, to have raised such strong women.
