We had Tony Roma ribs, bought at the grocery store, then reheated on the grill for dinner last night. OMG!!!!! they were sooooooo good and easy. Also cheap! I may have to get more for another day. I was able to eat a couple and keep them down. Usually pork and I part ways. These were so moist tho...
We also had corn on the cob. I only had a couple bites then my cob went to Tom.
I had my usual Lunch and breakfast.

I will be battling with food these next few days that I am off of work...I have some good plans in place so hopefully all will go well.

Yum, your pudding sounds really tasty.

Can you surround yourself with good food??
If you do eat protein when you are craving,it helps so much~~

My best friend and I went out to dinner last night. She wanted to treat me for the time I spend with her 100 year old Mom. It is a nice place, right along the lake. They offer 1/2 portions for many menu items. Perfect.

After eating we took a walk along the lake. She said how much SHE appreciates my WLS because it makes a walk possible. I couldn't do that before but she never complained.

I'll leave my hammer at home today. Flirty Wink

See,your friend would never share that before. Sounds a little like you are even a more special friend now.
Errrrr ..... Annette,I checked with your mayor's office, they clearly stated that you are not allowed to carry a hammer.

That's because Tom reported me for carrying a dangerous weapon. Dangerous to myself ... I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Thanks for the giggle my dear.

Yesterday was a good food day until dinner.  I baked venison steaks with a homemade fruit sauce.  I put on some rice and broccoli.  After a few bites it stuck.  I got sick with the foamies and had a horrid time.  I ate a few low cal popsicles which usually helps settle the grouch.

Later I ate my beloved chili... lol  then around 10 pm  I felt funny.... my blood sugar dropped. what the heck ????  I thought the chili would have taken care of that..    I snacked on peanut butter/ crackers and a banana...  next check the sugars were through the roof.

I have a Dr appointment at the end of the month and I'm going to ask to have my pancreas checked.  Too many people ( a few with nursing skills) have said the sugar swings from so low to high and low again are not normal.  sigh, and then this too.

I try to be consistent with my foods now...  same ole  same ole

B  Oatmeal w/ cranberries
S  Fruit
L  Chili w/cheese  onions
S  pretzels
D  ????

Millie,I am so very sorry you are going through this!
Keep on trying, that is you can do.
It looks like you keep a food diary,so I am going to guess that you also chart your body's reaction.
My heart goes out to you.
