What we are eating on the 4TH.Happy B'day to US!!!
Good morning to you our sweet little Linda. I hope that your 4th of July is as happy and joyful as you are to us!
My food yesterday wasn't to bad. I got more protein in and that is good. I have to get the strawberries that we talked about to make the shakes that we talked about. But I think that today is going to be better too...so until I get the berries I will make do with what I have. I will get the berries tomorrow. And maybe some peaches too...yum!
B: a piece of whole wheat toast and it has 4 grams of protein in it too! :-)
L: piece of chicken breast
D: beef with lots of cheese
S: popcorn
I am doing better so far today...had sausage for breakfast but now my tummy is upset. :-( I won't do that again for sure!
I hope that your 4th of July is great and you do just what you want to do...no matter what the heck it is. Know that I am sending you love and hugs with lots of prayers being said for you and yours. Make today special...no matter what you do...it is the birthday of our country and we need to celebrate!!!

Hello my dearest Brenda,I am so proud of you,for trying so hard,and becoming so much better with your food! Your body is fighting with the fuel you are giving it to heal.
Sausage can be tricky for sure. I rarely eat it,but some times you just want a piece. I never eat it by itself,I use a healthy bread,and I too love mustard. Another way I love it is with grits,eggs,and cheese,I mix it all together and I am guilt free because it is packed full of protein..I do not do it often but when the craving hits I do.
I come from a heritage that will have almost anything with grits,we used to eat fried fish don't do that anymore,but I am sure I could enjoy a piece of baked talapia,with pepper jack cheese on it and grits. The only thing I have an adversion to is sugar and grits...YUCK!
I keep my grits in the fridge as a container lasts me for a year. Once in awhile Olivia makes some,that is when we have breakfast for dinner...
Now Miss. Brenda,you know I take many meds,but much much less than before WLS. It is kind of you to tell me to do anything I feel like today,but the first thing that popped into my mind was to dance
