OT RELIGIOUS SONG/VIDEO FROM VH1 MODERN
This song touched my heart,I would like to share it.
It is called Laughing With. Please leave a comment,I like to know reactions...smile.
Has many names,and each person finds their own way. If you do not have a higher power,I will not try to make you sway. WHAT WE FEAR,WE CREATE.
The thought that keeps going through my mind is that so many people seem to only turn to God when they need Him and that's it. I wish that people would know that He is there all the time...and they need to turn to Him at all times and not just when something goes wrong.
Am I missing something that is there but I don't hear? If so let me know what your take is....I would be interested in knowing what your take on it is.

Hi dearest Brenda,for my 2 cents,you hit the nail on the head. She is saying some of us turn to God ,when we are afraid in life for whatever reason.
Then she is saying,some of us turn to God when we pray for material things,like money,at this point,He is like a genie,Jimmity Cricket,or Santa Claus.
She then states that God is very funny,which I take to mean that He is tolerant of us!
I love this song,as this is not a gospel song,it is sung by a pop lady,as such,it will reach kids,and prompt them to think. Once in awhile this happens.
