I got some free samples from my doc's office, she did not offer it,she just always has samples around, then I googled, and it actually seems to be something older people should have. I know magnesium is good for asthma, and that was a well kept secret I discovered through my own research.
Sooooo what do you guys know about this? Is this something we should make sure we are having??
You can copy and paste this to your browser, please leave me feedback, opinions,or cuss me out!http://www.slowmag.com/fast_facts_magnesium/important.aspx

Hiya Margo, when I googled it,it looked like something we could use in our lives.
I also take  Milk of Magnesia if I am constipated,I cut it in half, and a little goes along way. It is the only one My Center of Excellence and Nut reccomends.

PS,heck yeah I adore samples. The last time I was at the deli, the clerk gave me so many samples of cold cuts and cheese,I had to count it as a meal!

Margo,I know you put everyone in the family ahead of yourself. As Brenda said,we really get to know each other on here...smile.
I hope you do start taking the magnesium. I have poor vision as I had a freak accident when I was little and ended up with a fork in my eye.
Keep me posted,if there is anything I can do.
Much respect to you,little sistah..

If you notice on the calcium carbonate most of it is laced with magnesium. Magnesium helps keeps the intestines freely working. You can buy it in pills and when constipated up the dosage...

I take magnesium with my calcium citrate because it's supposed to be good for fibromyalgia. But Vitalady Michelle told me I was taking the wrong kind of mag ... I've been taking mag oxide, should be taking mag citrate. So check your magnesium ... I'll finish up the kind I have because it's in my calcium, but then I'll switch. Who knew there were two kinds of mag too? I sure didn't.

Hiya Eileen, I am so grateful to the internet,I goggle my butt off,and learn so much!
I have the  chewable clacium citrate, heavy duty tabs that are 2000 mg,but since getting some feed back here I only do a 4th tab.
It does sound like I should have more magnesium in my life..and I have samples!! Easy on the budget..
This bottle from the doctors says magnesium chloride, now I am wondering if I need citrate from the magnesium,if I have it in my calcium tablets.
Sigh, so many questions..
