Thank you for telling me your story. It gives me hope when I hear what others have accomplished. I am very anxious to know if the insurance company will approve the surgery. I too have many comorbidities that will improve after weight loss.

Hello again Penny.

Weight loss was so much faster than I expected.  I started at 360 lbs.  My personal goal was 200, my doc said no, 220.  So we have compromised it seems.  Six months after surgery I weight 210 lbs.  I have stayed between 210 and 215 ****il yesterday - 217). 

Do not worry.  Do not compare yourself.  You are Penny.  No one else is.  What is good for you, may not be good for others.  You will determine if you are compliant.  There are many older people who are not compliant because they feel they can comply when they want.  These people fail to realize they did not comply originally and that is why they are where they are today.
